  I met Angela on the recommendation of my daughter, who had just bought a house in Steamboat. That transaction was complicated but Angela guided and patiently realized the buy. My husband and I had been talking about selling our home in Steamboat for several years. I decided to call Angela Ashby At REMAX. I met Angela August 26, 2020 and she was all that my daughter had talked about! The initial visit was very relaxing and convivial, sharing Steamboat adventures, and most importantly my goals for selling the duplex home. I wanted to be able to have an offer by Halloween and be able to close sometime in Late November or December for sure! I needed some lead time to make repairs and, to sell furniture, so I delayed the listing date. Upon further consulting with Angela, we decided to list the house earlier than later. The following weekend, after 4 days of being on the market, an offer was accepted! Angela went to work! Angela coordinated thoroughly with me, explained details, especially legal documents, and kept in daily communication until the sell was on a very smooth path. Angela was always available to answer questions and dispelled doubts.. She made me feel very confident that she and her REMAX staff would be 100% accurate with my home's Routt county searches, the buyers financial stability, and the closing schedule and documents.   If you are looking for a Real Estate agent who gets it done, Angela Ashby would be my recommendation. Angela is knowledgeable of her market. Her experience allows her to ask all the right questions. Angela is nice person who worked very hard to make sure we were happy with our purchase. My family dreamed of owning a house in Steamboat Springs for 15 years. We decided to make it happen in 2020 and, of course, there were many challenges to overcome in the year of Covid 19. The biggest challenge we faced was doing this remotely from across the country. I had my doubts that it could be done. Angela made it happen. She spent hours taking us through video tours of homes and explaining the pros and cons of each. Once we figured out what we were looking for, Angela's guidance through the offer, inspection and closing were invaluable. We did not actually step into the house until the day we arrived to move in, but thanks to all of Angela's hard work we found our dream home and could not be happier.
