I am writing to express a serious concern regarding the ongoing vehicle break, ins at Alta 25. My wife’s car was broken into on the night of October 4, resulting in $625 in damages. When I filed the police report, the responding officer confirmed that there have been multiple break-ins at this complex. This is consistent with prior reviews from other residents, which shows this is not an isolated issue.
When I spoke with the leasing office, I was told that security cameras cannot be installed due to privacy concerns, and that the property attorney advised against it because cameras might capture residents’ balconies. I respectfully disagree with this reasoning for the following two logical and legal points:
1. Cameras can be positioned to focus only on parking areas, where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy under Colorado law.
2. If privacy concerns still exist, the property could issue waivers to residents who consent to limited camera coverage for the sake of safety.
The refusal to install cameras, despite repeated break-ins and numerous resident complaints, is not a proactive response. Residents pay a premium price to live here, expecting safety and accountability. The current lack of surveillance directly undermines that expectation.
I chose Alta 25 because of its quiet, secluded location, believing it would be safer than urban areas. Ironically, in my wife’s previous a few years ago an apartment in Aurora, an area known for higher crime, she never experienced a single vehicle break-in in over a year. Yet here, within just a few months, her car has been vandalized.
It is time for management to take decisive, preventative action instead of offering empathetic but ineffective responses. Installing cameras in the parking lots is the most objective and measurable step toward improving resident safety.
I encourage all residents who have experienced similar incidents to speak up and document their experiences. Collective resident feedback may be the only way to prompt meaningful change.
Given the seriousness of this situation and the lack of visible action to address it, I am giving Alta 25 two stars instead of one, to be fair. If management addresses this issue and installs security cameras or implements another effective security measure, I would gladly update or remove my review to reflect that improvement.
Move here and you’ll learn fast — the real luxury isn’t the quartz countertops, it’s how easily management lies with a straight face. They promised a rent concession as part of my lease, honored it for months, then flipped the script and demanded full rent plus fees, pretending the deal never existed.
When confronted, they didn’t take accountability — they hid behind their attorney like cowards instead of owning their mistake. That tells you everything about how this place operates: deceptive, arrogant, and quick to lawyer up when they get caught.
They’ll smile during the tour, make promises to close the deal, then gaslight you once you’re locked in. If you value honesty, transparency, or basic ethics, run the other way.

The management team at this apartment complex is incredibly kind and understanding. The property is kept super clean! The hot tub is great, but I do wish there was a hot tub indoor (and a sauna!) for winter and cold-evening usage.
My neighbors have been incredibly kind and come to me when they have advice that would help me be a better neighbor. It truly has been a long time since I've lived in such close quarters with others.
I'm thankful that my neighbors are patient as we figure out how to meet in the middle!
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live in a “luxury style” apartment complex?
Well Alta 25 isn’t it and let me share why….
Let’s start with the label “Luxury”, I don’t really recall walking into any Luxury establishment and getting hit with a combination of marijuana, dog feces, and urine. I also do not recall paying top dollar to live somewhere I had to wade through piles of dog hair to get into my apartment.
Pay top dollar to enjoy the “luxury” to:
1.smell marijuana permeating your apartment ( for 10 plus months) and the whole time being told that we need to get video or photographic evidence that the “offenders” were actually doing it. Apparently that’s the tenants job not managements. Again with NO follow up from management. They refuse to deal with people breaking community rules unless it affects them at the office.
2.go on a walk in the beautiful neighborhood (all to step in piles of dog poop. Not only in the dead/rotting peed on grass but smeared on the sidewalk.) it sure smells like a treat on a nice hot day out for a walk.
3.cigarette butts all over the community in “ smoke free “ community.
4.kids trashing the pool and clubhouse unattended by adults and groups of teens showing up that don’t even live in the community using and abusing the club house area. This went on most of the summer before management finally threatened to close the amenities before deciding to fix it. And by fixing it, they contracted a security company, that you needed to call if you actually had an issue. Which often times, the security company would give you a list of reasons why they couldn’t do what we were told they were supposed to do.
Clearly there’s no enforcement of the dog feces clean up. You can just walk your dog and let them poop as they please and leave it for your neighbor as a treat. This unsanitary situation has only continued to get worse regardless of bringing it to managements attention.
The standard is just do as you’d like and don’t worry about following the community and lease rules. Smoke where you want, poop where you want and don’t bother cleaning up after yourself or your pet. The dog poop sits there for weeks regardless of management being fully aware. They leave it for tenants to enjoy smelling it in their windows when they attempt to enjoy the fresh air on a beautiful day.
MAYBE I have been wrong my whole life about that word “Luxury”? (False advertising?)
It seems as though leasing staff leave on a weekly basis . If that’s not a reflection of poor management I’m not sure what is. If you’re considering to bring an issue to them, they say “we will look into it” and never communicate back regarding the issue.
Such a great way to do management business ! Concerns are brought to management and then thrown right in the trash ( unlike the dog poop around here ) Tenant concerns about safety and sanitation is definitely on managements low priority list. The right to quiet enjoyment is completely ignored.
So in closing, if you’ve ever wanted to experience what it’s like to be and feel neglected and have your concerns of an unsanitary living environment ignored ( and pay for it ) , you’ve found it ! You’ll deal with chronic issues and zero resolution until you’ve finally paid the end of your lease and can be released from the misery. If you’re lucky management will allow YOU to pay even MORE to transfer to another unit all to repeat the process of being ignored and neglected.

If you’re looking to live somewhere that reminds you of your EX…. You have found it.
At a glance the place is amazing, looks great, sounds like a fun relaxing time… and then once you move in… the lies and deception come to light. Much like leaving the bar with that one that looked great in the dim lights. When you wake up in the morning you realize the horrible decision that you have just made. You will sign a lease with all kinds of community rules you are told everyone must adhere to. In turn you will end up going to work smelling like weed or cigarettes, because they will NOT enforce the NO smoking policy for the community and individual units. The pool is a day care for parents to ignore their kids so they can fight for their lives while mom or dad (or sometimes both) will either be lost in their phones, or drink. Teenagers from a neighboring area have somehow managed to evade the security cameras and hack the security codes like ninjas to get in and trash the pool and the clubhouse…. Still at large… if you enjoy dog crap squishing up between your toes as you walk barefoot through the beautiful lush green grass…. They offer beautiful community grilling areas to lure you out excitedly to cook, only to discover the grills don’t work, but if you’re lucky enough to find one functioning, it is covered in mold because no one ever cleans them, adding that special flavor to your meal... If you have ever envisioned yourself in one of the post-apocalyptic movies (where the trash and debris is just blowing around because no one is alive to keep up with it) they have that for you too…. And just like your EX, when you approach them with your legitimate concerns and issues, you will be told that they will most definitely take you seriously and they will take care of the issues. Only to find you WILL continue to be miserable until you find a way to escape. Which by the way, will cost you an extra $5,000-$6,000 depending on the lease you signed, no matter the violations that continually happen around you. You have no way out. They will however offer to allow you to confront the offenders on their behalf in hopes of a UFC like confrontation, to possibly post on World Star? Like signing a deal with the devil himself, you’re here until they get their fill of souls. If this sounds like the adventure you’re looking for, you have found your spot.
