I was a renter where Littleton were my property manager. I understand other units might have different situations, but we lived in a nice apartment in city park and my experience with them was incredibly fair. They were quick to respond to service issues, helped us out with some things in the apartment that were outdated, and were fair to us in our move out process.

Move-in Condition: The second bedroom had dried cat feces, the doorways were torn up from cat claws, and there was a persistent odor of pet urine in the dining room upon move-in, which took days of cleaning to sanitize. Having to pay to clean this at the end of the lease was a real slap in the face because the carpet was clearly beyond it's intended life so essential once we moved out the carpet was in better condition that when we moved in, which is a mute point because it should be replaced as the damage is beyond what a no pet policy should have.
The dishwasher was broken, missing pieces, had food in the filter, all the plastic was impregnated with black mold making it unsafe for use and impossible to clean. Later this black mold started coming out of the crack along the bathtub leading me to the conclusion that it would come back to any replacement dishwasher. My wife and I washed dishes by hand that year and felt like there was no point in bringing up the issue because of property disrepair
Maintenance and Safety: Detail the issues reported during the tenancy, such as the broken AC and the moldy bathroom sink. Mention the bathroom door's key issue as a specific safety concern.
For sure the price we paid indicated there might be issues with the property which was a real shame because the triplex has great potential if properly remodeled. I just thought it was because it was ugly. Upon move in the AC unit was causing a short and took us a month to figure out that it was unusable and flipped the entire units breaker. After finding the unlocked box outside we made it through the weeks long replacement process. Surprisingly this was the one time we were gifted a gift card for the inconvenience being that the summer was heating up. While we didn't have much issue with noisy 80's fridge it just so happened to break halfway through the lease resulting in a loss of food and about nearly a week before a replacement was made.
We were charged for the bathroom doorknob that was severely worn, in fact it locked from the inside but instead of having a standard safety unlock hole it required a key that wasn't provided which could be a potential safety issue.
The water leaks in the bathroom sink, kitchen sink and upstairs units were rather difficult to deal with. The bathroom leak took a month of back and forth eventually ending with a plumber replacing the faucet and finally getting a handle on the horrible mildew smell.
Security Deposit: Overall the point of this review is that after addressing the unfairness of out security deposit amount and only receiving enough to cover the charge of the blinds that were marked in the move in checklist and nothing else for a place that would require extensive documentation to contest all the details from disrepair of the property.
In Conclusion: I'm a shy reasonable person but when I have a issue it takes me a lot to talk about it. I feel all but the grout cleaning charge was out of line, unreasonable and simply taking advantage of a tenant who was diligent in maintaining, cleaning and making sure no additional damage was incurred from water, specifically the bathroom sink that was a smelly moldy issue for us for the first couple months.

I rented a property the past year and my experience was very pleasant paying my rent, reporting maintenance needs, and communicating with office staff. Thank you again!! 😊

Just saw the house on yarrow. The roof has 10 layers of shingles on the roof. The roof above the entrance is cracked, water damaged, leaking, and caved in. The siding is bad. No AC. Carpet has not been replaced. When asking about the roof Kurt said "we won't fix it until it needs to be". Well obviously it's time to be fixed my 2bdr apt is still bigger than this house. And the owner uses the garage for storage?? What kind of janky stuff are you guys trying to rent for $1695 a month? I do not recommend this place.
