This place was just awful to live at. Rent went up every year, and the level of service and maintenance dropped each year. They constantly cycled through maintenance staff and management, and each new group would ignore our issues and instead just blame previous management and maintenance.
At one point my refrigerator was completely broken, the internal temperature was in the 60s. Maintenance first told me it was not broken, then "repaired" it which did nothing. They then told me it was mt fault for not putting in a request soon enough (they took 3 weeks to respond to each repair request, but always marked them in the portal as complete the same day I submitted them. They even called me a few times to ask me to stop putting in new requests, which I only did because they kept closing them and marking the work as completed without actually even showing up).
Eventually they "replaced" my fridge with a "new" one... 4 months after they said they would. I ended up going without a refrigerator for almost 6 months. The "new" one they gave me was from another unit, smelled like rotten food, and broke after just 1 month. I ended up buying a new one, which worked just fine.
The water and heat constantly went out, leaving me without access to hot water most days. Every inquiry about it just got responded to with "it's an old water heater" as if I wasn't paying them the cost of a new water heater every month for years.
Speaking of paying them, I got hit with seemingly random fees each month, many of which were duplicates, and office staff could never give me good reasons why: just threats of late fees if I didn't pay them.
Do not rent a place here. They will overcharge you, under serve you, and will be rude the entire time. You'll be treated like a nuisance for the low cost of almost $2000/ month.

I lived here from March 2022 to May 2025. I lived in 2 different buildings. I had a 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom. My review only applies to my time there and it appears there is new management since I’ve moved out.
Having hot water was an issue. We would be without hot water for days. In 2024, I kept track of how often we were without hot water and it adds up to about a month total. Maintenance took an exceptional long amount of time to actually fix anything and I was often questioned on the validity of my concerns. I was told more than once no your sink isn’t leaking, you must have spilled something. Maintenance would close tickets without completing the work. My dishwasher broke and it took months for them to replace. I was overcharged for rent and it took 2 months for them to fix. The property used to have community Internet that was $10 a month, they got rid of that Internet and it was wrote in my lease it was provided so I’m not sure how that works. The company who came out and installed the Google fiber drilled into the wall and left a pile of debris from the wall in the bedroom. Previous management never answered the phone and the property manager never answered his emails. I brought it up to him and he said he gets too many. The only way to talk to someone would be to go into the office as the phone was also never answered. The tenants never picked up their dogs poop so all the courtyards were a disgusting mess and I cringed every time I saw kids rolling around in the grass. The laundry rooms have a lock but no one ever locked them and people would go in them and leave drug paraphernalia around.

I’ve been a resident at Mountain Vista Apartments and have had a very positive experience. Aubrey is always helpful, professional, and quick to respond whenever I have questions or need assistance. It’s reassuring to have someone so dependable in the office.

Mountain Vista (their maintenance staff and community manager, Aubrey Martin) have been a sincere pleasure to work with this past year. Their communication with me is always clear, prompt and professional. I have also seen first-hand how much care and attention they provide in maintaining the grounds, and apartment units. Their management also supports a real sense of community at this complex not only with a fair and supportive attitude with their tenants, but also with the time and effort taken in planning many events so neighbors can get to know one another and build a sense of community. I would highly recommend Mountain Vista as a top choice for renters. Cristina
