Do not pass on the third party inspection. Make sure you get radon testing. Get the sewer scope and get the trusses and foundation checked very well. Also make sure your main water shut off out front by the street isn't clogged up with rocks from the landscapers.

We are building a new home with Pulte at the Independence community and so far our experience has been fantastic!
