- ASAndrew Steffes5 days ago1.0In December of 2024 my wife and I purchased a new Richmond home at The Trails at Aspen Ridge in Colorado Springs. From the start, we had countless issues that we had to fight in order to have corrected (some of which are explained in our review). I would love to elaborate and provide proof of all the issues since moving in if needed. From Richmond failing to install our Air Conditioner for the first five months of ownership, to countless other issues. However, our biggest concern and focus is the cracking and sinking of the home. RWC has been of no help, even after they sent a structural engineer. Another warranty team member stopped by yesterday to help with our 12 month end-of-warranty tickets. Just like everyone who comes into our home, he was shocked by the severity of the cracking and sinking, even mentioning he had never seen cracking this bad in a home. After speaking more with his supervisor, he emailed us explaining that they no longer recommend we have the trades fix the drywall for our 12 month warranty because they it’s so bad they advise we leave to cracks for proof of shifting and try to get another opinion from RWC. They also then stated they can’t guarantee Richmond will ever even fix our drywall (let alone any structural issues). I will gladly send photos so you can see for yourself how terrible this is. assessed and corrected before it continues to cause an even bigger problem. We are exhausted with almost a year of constant attempts to have this issue reconciled.
