Scheduled with leasing office for a tour Sunday @ noon. Drove from Grand Junction, received confirmation text and email. No one is there, office is closed. I'll be happy to change my review when the leasing office reaches out directly to make this right. A canned reply to this will only be offensive.

I do really love the apartment itself. The floor plan is nice and the view is great. The maintenance team is really helpful, too. That's where the pros end. Management works hard to make buildings appear esthetically pleasing without addressing actual issues that impact those that live here. 1. They frequently shut the water off with no notice or give notice only after its already off. 2. Likewise, there is construction and maintenance happening in the building that we only get notice of after the fact- I live in an upper story and had painters drop in on my porch unexpectedly- They saw me topless while I was breastfeeding my infant! Which felt violating and unnecessary. I don't blame the painters- this is yet another issue with management not sending a simple email or letter. 3. There is no handicap entrance and its very difficult for anyone with a stroller or wheelchair to get in the building. There is technically a back entrance that could be used but it's always locked. I understand that adding a handicap entrance is not a simple thing, but at least make the back entrance accessible. 4. They run heat on full blast in the building as soon as October hits, making it incredibly hot. The building is so hot that without running our personal heat, our apartment is 79 degrees unless we open all the windows. Everyone who lives in the building has to pay for the utilities to keep the building so hot, too. The shared utilities end up costing way more than personal utilities. There is no valid reason to keep the hallways so hot. I do like this area and the apartment is nice. I wish the experience matched because I like where we live and I love our neighborhood and the people who live here!

This place is pretty hard to live at. Parking is a nightmare. You have to pay to park in the parking lot or try to get a spot parallel parked somewhere. Inoperable vehicles stored in two of the parking lots clearly being "worked on" or "for sale" for months! Apartment work orders stack up with no sense of urgency.

RATS! BURROWING in my back yard and nothing has been done to fix it. I'm just supposed to breathe in their diseases on their droppings!? My son can't go outside! So, I've given them 2 warrant of habitability notices since it was reported 9/25 and we still have them. They're actually in breach of their lease agreement and the notices - next I will withold the rent! I did everything I could! But that didn't move the leasing office or maintenance to do anything! I also filed a complaint with the Public Health and Environmental department and they will either fix it or be fined, in 2 weeks or less! And at some point we will leave this slum for good! I can't believe the many people that work here actually get sleep. I would hate my job knowing people are being lied to, neglected and exposed to these unsanitary conditions! The rats run between my yard and the neighbors, and pest control has had almost a month to come and help. I was told on the 29th a new company was hired and that they would be by that following Thursday- hahahahaha nope! Maintenance was supposed to remove the dirt and then fill it with concrete, but they sent someone and his wife to fill the holes, ONLY, with quikrete! Hello!? Rats will dig around, and that's what they did! We have over 5 holes and who knows how many tunnels! I get to watch them run around on my camera, at night, paying their rent! I'm so sick of it We are beyond stressed out! I pay for heat that doesn't reach the upstairs where we sleep, and the windows rattle because they are useless and aren't on their tracks, they don't even lock, open or close right! Can't even use a space heater because the wiring is aluminum!!! And it overheats and then shuts the breaker off! The electrical plug will be hot to the touch or start to smoke- so safe! I hate it here! They painted the outside white, and took away our brand new screendoor... That was money they could've use for rat control. I'm surprised by the positive reviews, because you have to that one special unit out of all of them that won't have major issues. I'm guessing they want us to break the lease so they can remodel this townhouse and raise the rent. We'll leave, free and clear no fines... But until then, I might have to seek legal action to do just that. Do better, you're violating our rights to clean and habitable housing! There's a reason there are so many available units, don't buy the lie.. even the remodeled units can't overcome the what, almost 60- 70 year-old neglected complex? Don't move here! You WILL REGRET IT! EXPENSIVE AFTER ALL THE CRAP YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH! Lex, reply with the truth, like "We are truly sorry, and we have neglected you as our resident who has not done nothing wrong. We broke the lease we hold you to, and in all honesty we would love to fix the undue stress we have put you through, for almost a month, and make it right." The list is ongoing here... I just can't go on anymore and read a GPT copied response from the office.
