My experience at Meadowmark Apartments, a 55+ community, has been nothing short of heartwarming. When I first called on July 22nd, Christi answered the phone. I explained my situation—how I urgently needed a place to live after spending the past eight to nine months in a hotel. Christi’s response was immediate and caring; she invited me to visit the apartments right away.
The next day, Paul and I went to Meadowmark, where we were warmly greeted by Barbara Cousins. Barbara’s kindness was evident from the starts, she was friendly, patient, and took the time to walk us through both the one- and two-bedroom apartments. As someone who has never rented before, I was uncertain about the process, but Barbara explained every step with genuine compassion and understanding. Paul commented that he hadn’t experienced this level of customer service since the 1980s.
Barbara’s professionalism and sincerity truly stood out, but what touched us most was her heartfelt concern. When Dalia had a fall on Saturday, August 3, 2025, Barbara went out of her way—even on her day off—to visit us at the apartment and help us find a wheelchair. She kept checking in and made sure Dalia felt cared for, expressing concern and support that went beyond her job description.
Thanks to Barbara, what could have been a stressful move was instead filled with warmth and reassurance. Her compassion and dedication reminded us that there are still truly caring people in this world. We are deeply grateful for our experience at Meadowmark Apartments in Castle Rock and look forward to continuing our connection with this wonderful community.
