My fiancé and I are current residents at Ara Townhomes & Flats and living here has been a disappointing experience to say the least!
Shortly after move in, we discovered one of our toilets didn’t work. It took 6 months (and MUILTIPLE maintenance requests) for anyone to figure out the issue. During that time, I followed up on one of the requests and was told a plumber had already been inside our home the week prior! This was the first time we were informed that anyone had entered. We were given no notice which felt like a violation of privacy! After finally figuring out the issue, it still took another month to repair.
Then in March, moisture was found behind a wall in our guest room. We waited 2 weeks with zero communication and had to chase management just to get anything scheduled. Management would not provide us with a scope of work or repair timeline despite multiple requests.
A contractor showed up to work not only in our guest room, but also our garage, which we were never told about. Due to the lack of communication, we were not told we had to prepare our garage. The contractor moved our personal belongings inside of our garage
themselves and left everything disorganized.
We’ve sent multiple follow up’s to management regarding our frustrations and have received no response to date.
We understand that issues can arise in a new community, but the lack of communication, lack of organization, and disregard for tenant rights is shocking and unacceptable. All these make Ara Townhomes & Flats hard for us to recommend. We hope management will address this and work towards a fair solution.

Beautiful property with a great overall atmosphere. The community feels well maintained, clean, and welcoming right when you walk in. The team was friendly and professional, and you can tell they take pride in the experience they create for residents. Definitely stands out compared to a lot of other properties in the area.

I do not recommend this property. Management will charge a “Liability Waiver Program” fee while not enrolled in their supplementary insurance program and proving proof of insurance, then will refuse to remove the fee. Not flexible with cancelling the valet trash service. Additionally, property management and maintenance operate with poor communication and diligence. Buildings are poorly built with thin walls, allowing noisy neighbors to cause disturbances. Property management posts misleading images on social media for marketing efforts. Garbage truck arrives around 6am daily, causing noise disturbances. Snow removal works loudly during the night, causing additional noise disturbances.
