    Too expensive and incompetent management. I have lived at this complex for about 18 months. I pay my rent early every month and don’t bother anyone. Before signing the lease, the manager assured me they would never access the home without my permission unless it was an emergency. Since moving in, they have now forced possession of units in the complex twice for non emergencies. They notify tenants through a blast email with no choice for saying no or setting an appointment. Like complete dictators. Today they accessed my unit without permission even though the manager committed to setting an appointment with me when I could be present. They proceeded to force access to my unit and rummage around for over 13 minutes while my alarm was going off. How disrespectful and invasive! Then, the manager gets back to me saying their forced access and rummaging around for 13 minutes was inadvertent. Also, quoting technical verbiage in the lease rather than be a man of his word. If I could move out early without penalty, I would. I would not recommend living / renting in this complex. There are much better options out there.

    Absolutely unprofessional. I tried applying, and their website says if you apply you’ll get a call to schedule a tour. NEVER received a call. And then, you go to the office and absolutely no one is in office. When calling I’m constantly routed to their office site leasing, who are zero help as well

    It seems like several of the poor reviews here are left by people who did not actually live here - let me offer some perspective from someone who did. Our family has truly enjoyed the two years that we spent living at Brownstones. I'm not sure we could have asked for a better experience. Troy truly cares about the residents and has always treated us with respect. Any (infrequent) maintenance issue was always handled very quickly. The price point on these homes is incredibly fair when compared to other options in the area. The neighborhood and community are safe, and quiet - a quality that is likely due in part to the requirement to submit an application before touring. All in all, this is such a hidden gem and it would be foolish not to consider making your home here.

    I know nothing about the townhomes themselves so I'm not going to give this 1-star, but fact that you have to have an approved application before you can even get a tour is ridiculous. I tried to call to talk to a person about this, and was transferred by automation to multiple extensions that nobody answered, and then disconnected. How do I know if it's somewhere I even want to apply, if I am not allowed to see it? The floor plans are nice, but the "virtual walkthrough" is obviously computer-generated garbage, and most of the still photos are taken from the video, so there is no way to get a good idea of the interiors.
