- TTTobyMar 22, 20265.0In winter, the Borders Lodge is an outstanding ski-out base with large apartments and clear mountain and village views. We’ve stayed twice: over Christmas and, another season, in February. Full kitchens with everything we needed. Comfortable open living areas. The balcony view at dusk across the valley. A good way to end the day. We’ve grilled on the BBQ in the snow. First run is simple. The Elkhorn chair sits just beyond the ski-out from the boot room. We click in and go. The alpine styling and stone courtyard add more character. The outdoor heated pool is a welcome treat. Once we arrive, we rarely use the car. The Village Connect shuttle stops outside and runs early until late. Snow clearance around the property is constant and thorough.
- EEEd EliasFeb 14, 20265.0We rented a 3 bedroom plus loft for a week of skiing at Beaver Creek. The rooms were large and comfortable, well lit and the heat worked well. The ski on ski off was convenient. The free Village Connect shuttle took us everywhere but the supermarket in Avon.
