I am not normally one for writing poor reviews, and I do feel bad contributing this however after reading the review 2 weeks ago from Karma and the response that was given, I don't believe the response given to that review is true. Even if the call box was damaged by the winds, I have lived here since 2023, requested multiple times to please be added, and am told they will "put me on a list to be added" and this does not happen (even after being switched over from Alexan Westerly Creek to the Hayes). I've simply given up on it. The trash chute that went down is still down to this day, it has definitely been over a month which is unfortunate though up until this point I was willing to give it a pass because of the trash valet we pay for and it can be picked up. However, now there are gnats, many of them in that room, and they are seeping into my apartment, bugs are extremely upsetting to me and I fear this issue has gotten out of hand. We email every now and then to clarify issues like certain charges on our rent, and we are not responded to, we end up needing to go down to the office directly to speak to them, although granted everyone who works there has always been kind to us, just seems to be a communication issue with their email. I am hoping with this review they will see my email regarding the gnats on our floor. All in all I just feel like with the price we pay to live here, having to deal with package thieves and a broken chute with bugs has not been worth it unfortunately.

Had lived here for three years and things went downhill when the development became The Hayes about a year ago. I agree with a lot of what other reviewers have said about general upkeep, dog crap in the stairways, doors not working, I even had a package stolen out of the concierge room. At the time the door was broken and could be propped open. When I told the front desk about my package they said they weren't responsible even though the door was broken. I want to focus on something that just cemented that the management just didn't seem to care, specifically the gym. There were several things that were never addressed even up to when I moved, dumbbells were stolen in early spring, I went into the office several times to report it, they still haven't replaced them. The bike membership has been expired for just as long. Also when equipment breaks it takes ages for them to address it. I am glad to have moved, do not move here, you will regret it. There are two developments right next to this one (The Alexan Montview and The Stanley), try your luck at those. I moved to the Alexan and couldn't be happier, it is a shame I disliked this place so much that I had to move next door.

Don’t move here unless you want your packages to get stolen every time. If you tour here ask to see the mail room where every single package is ripped open by thieves.

Nov 2025: It’s honestly really sad how downhill this property has gone since we moved in two years ago. Stairways dirty, carpets dirty inside, landscaping is awful. Hot tub jets work now but the heat doesn’t, the fireplace are outside hasn’t worked since before I moved in, clubhouse tvs don’t work, pool table cues broken, bathrooms dirty. Coffee machines barely ever working, water machine in the rooftop terrace broken for over 6 months now, wall next to it left visibly water damaged. Glass on the doors to the pool shattered for weeks now STILL. Glass & trash all over the pavement outside, oil stains on the pavement from them being allowed to do mechanic work in the cul-de-sac. Some of these people even throw their leftover oil in the creek that is already full of trash from the overflowing garbage from the dumpsters from our complex. Broke down cars over the lot- they’ll make you pay $60 for parking, $10 to 5280 to manage it, and then will literally manage no one. If someone parks in your carport that’s an extra $120 on TOP of the other parking fees, there’s no towing what so ever & they don’t manage it, so it just sucks to be you at that point. Call box on the buildings doesn’t work either. Blow dryer in the pet spa broken. Not to mention a dog sprayed poop all over the walls in there & it was like that for OVER A WEEK. There’s also been multiple weeks where a dog has pooped in the stairwell and it sits there, along with people letting their dogs poop on the sidewalk! Back sidewalk along the creek is overgrown, unkept- they’re saying it’s the construction project going on near part of the property (that will last until 2027) but that means they can’t cut the grass that lies before the ugly orange fence?? there was also a homeless guy living under the pass behind building 2 who runs an extension cord from the building into the creek and blasting the radio all night. Even has a light projector set up, heard him yelling profanities at residents the other day to “come make him be quiet.” I called security & and he was still there for a week until he wanted to leave. To top it off, I attached pictures of our mail room. There’s consistently theft of packages but this takes the cake. Literally no repercussions for this, no investigation, they just let this continue. So happy to be moving out of here in a couple months!! EDIT: Michael is not new, he has been the leasing manager for 6 months now. BOTH doors to the clubhouse pool are now cracked, still haven’t been repaired. Added another picture of the BED BUG TENT covering an apartment & trash on the 1st floor of building 2. Do NOT LIVE HERE.

Hello, I have overall enjoyed my time living here, especially prior to Roundhouse taking over. I enjoy the location, my apartment, the maintenance response (especially under Tony's supervision), and some of the people I have met. I believe this community can continue to improve now that we have Michael as the property manager, because he seems to genuinely care about the community. Prior to Michael joining the team/community, anytime I brought up a concern to the leasing staff/manager (ie...pot & cigarette smell in my apartment/building/property), trash in the parking lot and shoved under my vehicle, broken package room door, trash in hallways outside of specific timeframes, glass and noise in pool area...), I was met with "oh well, you know, that happens with apartment living." Every. Single. Time. I have lived in many different apartment complexes through the years, and have NEVER been dismissed and disregarded the way I have been here. I understand there are many different people who live here (I LOVE the diversity of Aurora), there is a lot going on all the time, the staff can only be in so many places, and rely upon the residents to assist and communicate when things are not working or when we see things that are of concern or violate our leases. I am hopeful for change of past treatment/responses/actions, of property management taking action when concerns are made, and holding residents accountable when in community/lease violation. Please let me, and the community as a whole, know how we can help keep our community safe, clean, friendly, and an overall amazing place to live! Thank you!
