  We actually liked the community itself, and Jay seemed friendly. But the application process and communication were extremely frustrating. From the very first step the application didn’t work. My spouse and I both tried multiple times and kept getting system errors. I explained several times that the issue was on their side, but no one seemed to believe it. After I sent screenshots they finally acknowledged something might be wrong, but nothing really moved forward. Eventually I was told to come to the office. I had to take time off work to go there, and only then were we able to push the process forward together. The lack of initiative was the most disappointing part. I had to follow up constantly, ask for updates, and push every step myself. My husband even went to the office twice during business hours and no one was there. Just trying to submit the application took about a week. Because of that we missed our planned move-in, and even after about 11 days we still had no clear update unless we contacted them. In the end we moved forward with another community where the entire application and approval took less than a day. I’ve never seen an application process this difficult.

  I’m truly happy and pleased with the new management and the overall positive energy in the building. Jay has been extremely helpful, professional, and attentive, which really reflects the standard this new team brings. It’s refreshing to see such a dedicated and responsive management group, and I feel confident this change will lead to amazing progress. I genuinely appreciate all the effort and care being put into the building.

  Let this review reflect the truth: this location is absolutely beautiful. The apartment layout is outstanding, with generous square footage that truly feels worth the price. Compared to other apartments in the area, this community offers the best value for your money by far. Parking has also been a positive experience—if you arrive home at a reasonable time, there is plenty of available parking. I’ll admit, I was initially nervous after reading some of the reviews while apartment hunting. However, my experience has been nothing but positive. I’ve had very few issues, and any concerns that did come up were addressed promptly and professionally. I can confidently say I do not regret moving in. The true standout of this building, however, is Brendan. His level of customer service, professionalism, and dedication to residents is exceptional and honestly deserves recognition. Brendan was always responsive, answered every question thoroughly, and made sure my concerns were properly communicated and resolved. His transparency, reliability, and genuine care for tenants were a major reason I felt confident signing my lease. He is an absolute asset to this property, and his work sets a standard that others should strive to meet. And then you have Jay, him and Brendan working together make a power team. Jay is just as attentive, addressed my concerns quickly and got back to me with updates. Round of applause for Jay and Brendan, they're going to be the reason why i renew my lease when the time comes.   I am so happy to live at Sorrel (previous Motif). Apartments are spacious and elegant with high ceilings. Building is clean and taken very good care from cleaning staff. Maintenance team is great, quick and helpful. Management team is amazing! Jay and Brendan are so professional and patient with any question or request I have. They always make you feel appreciated. They are managing, with a smile, very pleasant and comfortable living at Sorrel. I am recommending Sorrel to be home to many others!

  I am so happy to call Sorrel (former Motif) home. The new managment team, assistant manager Jay Sherrell and office associate Brendan Johnson, are very proffesional, patient and friendly. Their responds to all my request are smooth and quick. My great gratitude to them! Also, Maintance team respond quickly to every work order. I can recomend Sorrel as a great place for living!
