Leasing team is nice overall but no one wants to speak on how bad it gets when the complaints of noisy neighbors never get dealt with. Just recently moved in a couple of months ago and have been dealing with a neighbor who consistently plays loud overbearing music throughout the “quiet hours” and invites over more than the maximum of two people into their small space to have a party. Slamming drawers, closets, doors all the time. I have brought this up to the leasing office over more than a couple of times to see if they would help in trying to figure out a way to quiet this neighbor down but nothing ever gets done. Never got an update on what they did or did not do. Needless to say this neighbor is still doing their best job of slamming and stomping around and having parties whenever they feel like it. I have resorted to reaching out to the non emergency police line for some support instead. Very disappointed as someone who loved the leasing experience and wanted to continue to feel supported in that way.
My experience at Kinect of Southport has been extremely disappointing.
At move-in, my lease clearly indicated that I was entitled to two parking spaces, and I used both without issue. Later, I received an email stating that one of my parking spaces was revoked. I reached out to management multiple times and received no response.
Shortly after, my second vehicle was towed, and I had to pay around $700 to retrieve it. When I spoke to management in person, I was told that the parking policy had been changed and that one-bedroom units are now limited to one space. I was then offered to rent a garage for $170/month.
Another ongoing concern is that amenities like the jacuzzi and grill area are frequently used by people who do not appear to be residents. It’s easy to access these areas, and they are often left in poor condition, including trash and even broken glass near the jacuzzi. I have reported this to management, but my feedback was removed without any visible action.
Guest parking is extremely limited (around 15 spots for the entire complex) and almost always full, which creates a high risk of guests being towed.
Cleanliness is also an issue — hallways are often dirty, and trash areas are frequently overflowing.
Considering the high cost of rent (close to renting a house), the value simply isn’t there. Also, I strongly advise against renting a unit facing the pool due to constant noise, shouting, and continuous humming from pool equipment.
Another major inconvenience is the key policy. The building uses an electronic key system, and I am not allowed to create any additional access for someone else. This makes it very difficult in real-life situations — for example, when I have to leave town urgently for work and need someone to check on and feed my cat. This restriction creates unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Overall, this has been a frustrating experience, and I would not recommend living here.

Antovia was great and extremely easy to work with. She assisted me with a tour and was sure to answer all of my questions. She also helped me finish my application which was extremely helpful!

I have been living here since September 30, 2025, and overall, my experience has been very positive. The location is one of the biggest advantages. It’s in a quiet and safe area of West Sacramento, which makes it perfect for everyday living. Everything I need, like grocery stores, restaurants, and main roads, is very close and convenient.
The apartment itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. The layout is practical, and the space feels welcoming. I especially appreciate how peaceful the environment is—it’s not noisy, and it’s easy to relax at home after a long day.
The management team has also been helpful and responsive whenever needed. Any small maintenance requests were handled in a reasonable time, which made me feel comfortable and supported as a resident.
Another thing I like is the community atmosphere. The neighbors are respectful, and the area feels well-maintained. Parking has also been manageable, which is a big plus.
Of course, like any place, there are small things that could be improved, but nothing major enough to affect my overall experience.
Overall, I would definitely recommend living here, especially for couples or small families looking for a peaceful and convenient place in West Sacramento.

We recently experienced a car break-in in the apartment parking area.
After filing a police report, we reached out to the leasing office to ask about security camera footage. While we understand there may be policies around not sharing footage directly with residents, what stood out most was the lack of communication about what is being done in response to the incident.
There has been no clear information provided about whether footage was reviewed, whether it was shared with law enforcement, or whether any steps are being taken to improve security moving forward.
For anyone considering moving here, it’s important to be aware that in situations like this, communication and visible action from management may be limited.
