  Don't let this flood of new 5 and 4 star reviews fool you! If I could give this apartment a zero I would. This place has had roaches and mold for years and they've let residents live in it with no remorse. This new "management" is using them only managing the buildings for 18 months as an excuse as to why they've put people at risk and has barely done anything about it. Even if they have been "working on improving it" as they're saying in the replies to all the negative reviews they have on here, it had to take an influx of people moving out, breaking leases, and sending more bad reviews than good to do something about it. I can't tell people where to move, especially in this economy right now, but please consider this review before roping yourself into a lease with these people and putting you and your loved one's health at risk.

  I have lived at these apartment for the last 3 years. They have just switched over to new management and all I can say is wow. The ladies in the office are more than helpful. They are so friendly and take the time to help with any concerns and even just say hi and truly care about our wellbeing. In the last 7 months, they have completely changed the security, look, and overall feeling of these units. I now feel safe, with the security on premises and the gates now locked. The pool, gym, and landscape have all got remodels, and the maintenance team is TOP NOTCH. Thank you to Cristina and ABRA for making Sunset Square somewhere I am proud to call home to myself and my babies.

  After talking to Luis, one of the most prestigious managers as I was told, Luis had inform me and my fiancee that even though i had a couple of credit issues and my fiancee having next to perfect credit, that we would get the $600 deposit min requirement, that our credit would even each other out. Turns out that it didnt and we ended up getting a deposit of 3 times that amount, they didnt even consider my fiancee great credit history, just were worried about my past, but I had no evictions or bankruptcy. Luis then told me I should have my fiancee apply by herself which would be another $45 for another credit check, I had asked him about that same scenario from the get go, but he said we both needed to be on the lease and now says something different??? Please be aware of managers who dont know what they are doing, avoid this place.

  I’ve been living here for 18 months and we are renewing our lease for another 13 months. I’ve been here when the other two ladies before Cheyenne and Maribel were running the complex. They were always willing to listen to any complaints we had but would never do anything to fix them. I think the company saw this and decided to hire competent, hard working, caring managers. I say this because I’ve seen Maribel walking the complex early in the morning picking up trash. That to me speaks volumes. I’ve never seen management take pride like that before. The few times I’ve had issues, they’ve always rushed to fix it. I’ve had to tell Cheyenne to wait and give me a little time to let my family know before she gets someone to fix a problem because she’s always willing to do it right then if she could. Raul the maintenance man is always professional and he always follows through. Always makes sure that things get fixed right the first time. I’ve talked to neighbors and they’ve complained about something being wrong but won’t allow management to go into their apartment to fix it. If you base your decision on those reviews and are looking for somewhere to live where nothing ever breaks or needs repair, good luck to you. My experience here has been great especially now that those two are running the complex. They have some work to do to fix what the other two managers before them did, or didn’t do, but I know when I need something, they’re always willing to help.
