Often times my team has had to babysit other title companies who aren't used to these sensitive transactions , but Stephanie was different and on-top of it every step of the way!
- EOEric OrtegaOct 4, 20241.0If your real estate agent uses this title company, you had better make sure they are doing their job. In my case, they missed a supplemental tax bill owed on a trust sale. Two years later, we get a bill for the county tax collector. When we brought this up to Chicago title Walnut Creek, they claimed “the document was not available when documents were pulled”. It took the County Assessor to remind them that it was. Finally, Chicago Title Walnut Creek admitted they missed it. Their negligence has taken so much time from my wife, myself, my lawyer and their own staff when all they needed to do was perform a job that they were paid to do. I can assure you; this careless branch will never see any future business from me.
