Here are some details about the homes at toll brothers sunnyvale:
1. Construction noise is hazardous. They will start at 7am for sure and sometimes earlier and end sometimes later than 6pm. They will do excessive cutting of stones etc on the nearest edge of the construction site closest to the residential area just 2m away from the homes. The decibel is constantly almost 90db and many times higher. According to Google, "Sounds at or above 85 decibels (dB) are considered harmful over time, potentially causing permanent hearing loss. While sounds under 70 dB are safe, consistent exposure to 85 dB—such as traffic or blenders—damages the ears after 8 hours." Construction is not only sometimes violating the permitted hours, they are going well above the safe db in the residential area. Noise cancelling, earphones all those don't work when you live here!
2. Toll brothers has wiped out contact information for construction issues - see photo for details.
3. You cannot open windows and they are smudged with construction dust. Same with doors. Can go on for years.
4. New residential area? Infested with pests like silverfish. Finding at least 2-3 every day! Also linked to house being moist because you cannot open windows and doors due to construction air pollution.
5. There is absolutely no guest parking area here. Leasing is 24hr tow zone so guests need to park 15 min away. You will have to sometimes drive and drop them off.
6. Caltrain and other trains will pass by even during midnight and it will shake your house. You will hear it in your sleep.
7. Stairs are super steep with four sets of stairs - not good for elderly and young kids.

The construction in this neighborhood is real. I would not purchase anything from Toll Brothers Sunnyvale. The construction workers start super early and make the loudest noises and they are making violations over the permitted legal hours (past 6pm on weekdays). There is dust and air quality issue for sure.

Do not buy townhouse here. There is construction that starts at 7am on the clock sometimes slightly before and makes the loudest noises early morning. If you want health issues, you can live here. Construction is everyday and not on Sundays. It is not just loud - it is super loud and will make your heart vibrate too. I've requested the loud noises be in the afternoon to avoid disruption of sleep but they will make the loudest noises in the early morning. Also there is caltrain nearby and whenever the trains pass through your furniture and house will shake. Construction might go on for 2 yrs who knows - they do not tell you the exact date. You cannot open the windows or doors and will feel claustrophobic. There is definitely air quality and dust issue here as well.
