  We had a contentious family transaction, but Jim's calm, cool, professional demeanor made it possible to avoid those potential pitfalls and make it a smooth transaction. He's so organized with the voluminous paperwork of a CA transaction that it makes it very manageable, and sent out a timeline of important dates at the beginning so that we knew exactly what we needed to get done by certain critical dates. It was an older house with plenty of issues, and all of Jim's referrals were great, so that was a big plus since we don't live in the area anymore. Highly recommended!

  In my client's opinion, Chase International Realty and its agents—Fawne Hayes, Susan Lowe, and seller/agent Kelli Landman—showed zero integrity and put profit before honesty and ethics. For weeks, they insisted the property my client was buying in Stateline, NV was “fully permitted.” Even after TRPA confirmed in writing that it wasn’t, and we gave them an opportunity to confirm the compliance, they doubled down—Lowe and Landman told us they had “brought it into compliance.” We verified again with TRPA, and for a second time, that turned out to be false. They tried to pressure my client into buying an unpermitted property, and after I cancelled and filed a formal complaint with the Nevada Real Estate Division, the unpermitted improvements were quietly removed—and the property was later sold. In my clients experience, Lake Tahoe Chase International agents cannot be trusted, and the Real Estate Division fails to hold them accountable. Shameful behavior all around. Buyers beware.

  Jim was great to work with. He helped us successfully close on a complex 1031 exchange within our time and budget constraints. Since he is licensed in both California and Nevada he was very knowledgeable with helping us narrow down the right location to fit our needs. Jim is very patient and detail oriented. He walked us through every part of the process and explained all the details of the complicated contracts that we signed, answering any small question that we threw at him. I would definitely recommend Jim!

  We met Jim Wire as he had the first listing we wanted to see, what were weren’t expecting was his attention to details and focusing on what our must have list was. He worked with for several days before we had to leave but he assured us he understood what we both wanted and would keep looking for it for us. We made it home on Saturday and the following day we received an email and phone call about the house that fit all our needs. It had just fallen out of escrow as the buyers needed a guaranteed approval from TRPA for the adjoining lot also listed by the same seller. They didn’t realize the time and process involved and had to purchase a lot that had coverage guaranteed. So it was our lucky day that Jim was our agent. I drove back the very next day and wrote the offer without my husband seeing it in person. There were multiple offers but Jim did the best job on our offer and was in touch with the listing agent at all times. Our offer was accepted and within two weeks it was ours. Jim Wire was truly the only agent we have ever worked with as thorough. He made finding our cabin easy and our needs and want list was his priority.   Jim, Is a great realtor and man. He helped us find our first home, so we could take part in the Tahoe experience. He was thoughtful and helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend Jim!
