I really love working with people who know their product. Jennifer carefully walked me through the Clayton floorplans and made suggestions based on my needs. She also showed me some upgrades in case that was the route I wanted to go. She was also very on top of it when scheduling site inspections and requesting quotes from the construction companies. She will definitely speed up the process. Robyn and Jennifer were both great.

- CHChristine HanleyOct 17, 20132.0Incompetent people in sales in their Santa Rosa office. Completely and utterly incompetent but they 'seemed' really nice. They don't know what they are selling you and cannot complete the sale without them calling you later with things like "oops, we didn't ask you if you wanted base molding." After hours in their store selecting flooring and finishes they have the nerve to call and ask if we want base molding AND charge extra for that too? They nickle and dime all the way. AND they are always VERY apologetic too. We selected beveled edges for the cabinets and drawers and they installed some beveled and some straight edged. It's like they ran out so they just install what they had and hoped we wouldn't notice. They didn't bolt down the carport; it just sways in the wind. They never finished painting the front porch; some of the wood is just left unfinished. But when you call it's always "we'll take care of that" when it should have been taken care of in the first place. AFTER ALL, THIS IS A MANUFACTURED HOME. I mean, how can you not have a complete checklist of how to put these things together after all these years? Just because the Clayton Homes name has a "Warren Buffett" affiliation doesn't guarantee you will get the best. In this case it is quite the opposite.
