This past week, I visited a family member, stayed a few days. My family member has been there for more than ten years, and during their time of residency I've seen the building decline, and become more like an unkept set of projects; honestly, I think "The Nickerson Gardens," projects has better upkeep than Canyon Country Senior Apartments. The carpets throughout the building is dirty, and stinks like pet urine and feces, roaches throughout certain units, trash all over the grounds, the trash shutes stink, and it's floor is filled with trash, boxes, and the hallways are unsightly on certain floors. The first floor entrance appears to be the most impressionable sight of that apartment complex, and that's only for optics, and luring potential tenants. In my opinion "Poor Property Management," is the issue. PARKING is AWFUL!! The morning I got ready to leave, I came out and found that a tenant had blocked my car, and I was stuck out in the cold; until the tenant in unit 322 decided to get up and move his vehicle, luckily he left a note on my car, so I called him. There was no reservation or handicapped notice in/on space#95, he claims space 95 (ninety five) has been assigned to him for more than five years. Perhaps "GREYSTAR MANAGEMENT," should buy out these units, UPGRADE them, and eliminate the low income, low quality tenants, and allow tenants with higher income levels to reside there, and get some individuals who might take "PRIDE," in their "COMMUNITY," externally as well as internally.

Worst management ever, do not waste your time. The person in charge of leasing office is a rude middle age women how thinks some how everyone own her something. Does not worth the time and the nerve, you can find other places way better than this one.

The office staff don't return phone calls . They are not afraid of HUD and will not send information on low income apartments.

I applied to this apt. bldg. over a year ago. I got a call an apt. was available but had an absolutely terrible experience with the application process. Two months of providing income info. incl. tax returns, prior earned income, banking info etc., we still got the run around because they somehow just could not understand that I was no longer employed (in another state no less). I submitted ridiculous amts. of info and resubmitted things a couple of times as they couldn’t find it. I finally told them to keep their dang apt. Would never recommend them. Thanks
