  I renewed my lease 10 months ago, and they increased the rent by $300. After that, the property got a new owner, and we received a notification that construction would begin and last for 3 months. However, it has now been 7 months. They finished the construction, and it seemed like we could finally sleep peacefully, but then they started construction again. Now it begins at 8 AM and continues all day, and I constantly hear the noise. The property management basically tells us to go to hell and says that if we want to move out, we have to pay a $2,700 penalty, or take them to court — they don’t care.

  Valencia at Gale Ranch is a wonderful place to call home, nestled in a peaceful and it offers a refreshing pool for those warm summer days and a convenient on-site gym for staying active. The apartments themselves are thoughtfully equipped with modern essentials like a dishwasher and an in-unit washer and dryer, making daily chores a breeze. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the professional management and responsive maintenance team. I genuinely enjoy living here!

  ANOTHER UPDATE: My unit came with an old washer and dryer but I haven’t had any issues until the weekend when the washer didn’t fill with water and all the water ended up on the floor which damaged my items. A emergency maintenance came out within 2 hours from another property and he was very great. I was told I will get another washer/dryer on a set date and when I called to confirm the date as I have been calling off work for other serious maintenance work orders to be present but maintenance never shows up, the supervisor of maintenance claimed someone called me to let me know they’re not sure if I’ll get my washer/dryer on the date they stated and even lied and said someone contacted me when they didn’t. So now I have belongings that need to be washed and dried that I will have to carry down flights of stairs, travel and spend money to wash as I am awaiting my replacement washer/dryer when having one is an in unit amenity per the property. They have hired temporary staff for the leasing office who is never there. They do not answer the phones nor follow up. I pay over $2200 for a 1bedroom and I have only been living on the property for what will be 3 months next week and I have dealt with issues after issues. This is starting to become the start of a nightmare . If I had waited to move to another property, I would’ve and chose not to move here. UPDATE: I have been here for 2 months now and my work orders are still not completed. Prior to officially moving in , I asked for the lights to be fixed/replaced as they flicker in certain areas when they are turned on . I put it a multiple work order request for different issues about 3-4 weeks ago and I have not received a response but I know if I chose to not pay rent I would immediately get a notice. Property is unprofessional. I am giving this property 2.5 stars based off of communication and certain experiences from the leasing and maintenance staff. The property itself is nice, the environment is quiet and clean and I enjoy the neighborhood. I have only been living on the property for 6 weeks and I am already having issues with my unit. There was a drip leak that took a week and a half to fix with repairs to the cabinet and I had to continuously reach out to the leasing office and maintenance to get it fixed in a timely manner. The leasing office does not answer the phone, even when you leave a voicemail you will not receive a callback and I had to personally reach out the maintenance through email for communication. The supervisor of maintenance was helpful to an extent but I wasn't expecting to deal with a water leak under my bathroom sink 6 weeks residing on the property. Not to mention, the leak was already there before I moved in and wasn't noticeable until the cabinet started to become damaged and all my items were wet under the sink. The unit was not properly inspected beforehand. I am also dealing with similar issues like the recent review for appliances. The dishwasher is very old and does not clean good at all, I use it to just store my clean dishes. The microwave in the unit takes about 5-6 tries before it runs completely without shutting off and it's very annoying. The water heater is VERY LOUD, it makes banging noises that you can hear throughout the unit and the worse part about it, it's right outside the bedroom. I am praying I have no more issues developing while residing on the property and have a better experience here. I was very excited and happy to move to this property until the issues above occurred. I hope the actions of the staff here improve so others and I can live comfortably in our home. Overall, the location and environment of the property is good but the staff needs improvement on professionalism.

  Frustrating Experience with Maintenance and Appliances I’ve lived at Valencia at Gale Ranch for one year, and my experience has been disappointing. The dishwasher in my apartment is extremely old, has broken racks, and has never properly cleaned my dishes. I’ve reported this issue three times over the past year. Each time, maintenance came to check it and told me that as long as it runs, they won’t replace it. It feels like the management does not care about residents’ concerns. They only check appliances to see if they “work,” not whether they are functional or efficient. If you expect responsive maintenance or modern, functional appliances, this may not be the right place. If I get back to last year I would never move here

  Moved in a few months ago and we are extremely delighted with our decision. Corina Fong( property manager) made the move-in process extremely easy and stress free she goes above and beyond, herself and the management staff are amazing. Any issues are taken care of in a timely manner. The building is kid friendly and overall a great place to stay!
