- MCM CAug 16, 20251.0I cannot express enough the relief I feel of no longer living at View at Marin. If you are a prospect tenant, please keep in mind that in addition to your base rent - you will be paying an additional $400 minimum in utilities because they are shared among all tenants for the entire complex. If you are a single person or a couple just know you will be paying utilities of multiple other people. At this apartment complex I also experienced my first cockroach infestation. NOT FUN. The condition our apartment was given to us in was a disgusting. For a $2900 (including utilities) apartment our washer and dryer should work, it should be clean with no mold, etc. Want to do laundry and not have all your sinks back up with dirty water? Don’t live at view at Marin. Want to live in a community where there isn’t police activity and violent crimes? (A neighbor was stabbed by another neighbor during my time at View at Marin) look elsewhere. This is a fair warning. It’s easy to get drawn in by the (seemingly) low cost and promise of good amenities - which we never used because there were always strange men loitering in the gym/pool area and no security, but I advise you to stay as far away from this property as possible.
