Stay AWAY! In an attempt to reduce vacancy, the manager Blair lied that utilites minus PGE/internet were covered. I qualified for the “BMR”(Below Market Rate) unit. They then hit me with $250/mo utility. I asked for help and they are COMPLETELY unresponsive on the issue. The City of San Rafael has very clear guidelines on BMR rentals/utilities. I ran into previous tenant and she had same dispute. Again, stay AWAY!

I am happy to share that I will be concluding my first one year lease term at the One55 Lofts at the close of February 2026. I had experienced feelings for myself of uncertainty concerning picking an apartment. I discovered my current unit at the One55 Lofts and made the decision; same day, to applyI have been happy. I have enjoyed the numerous perks of living in the downtown area of San Rafael. I have since moving adopted a Miniature Poodle. I had not accounted for our having no personal outdoor space, i.e. a patio or balcony. I feel like I have been blessed in this past approximately 10 months of living at the One55 Lofts. I look forward to the next chapters in my life's journey with my new Miniature Poodle. Thank you One55 Lofts for being a part of my journey.

Applied for an apartment here and the quote expired.
Went back to continue applying and the rent went up more by $900 the first time thought about it and continued the process and placed a holding deposit on the unit I wanted and even with the holding deposit the rent went up $500 more!!!!! Of course I requested my money back because no one could provide proper explanation and even still it's November 3. Initially I was informed the check would take 21 days to process which would equate to the funds being mailed in the middle of October. I quickly informed the office the funds had not arrived and was told a check would be expedited still nothing. The lack of customer service, and professionalism explains why there are so many vacancies onsite.

One55 Loft Resident here! I’m happy to share my positive experience living here for the past 3 years. I’ve seen a lot of growth & improvements since the first year I arrived. Both Thayer & Blair are super caring about the residentes here to the point where it feels like family. Thayer is amazing & I’m happy to share that I’m his #1 fan because he’s not only friendly and approachable, but good at what he does (and so is BLAIR!). It’s great to be around management that go above and beyond their expectations. 155 has upgraded several amenities and are responsive to resident requests & concerns. My favorite upgrade that’s been implemented thus far is the mini dog park and hot tub area. I have two dogs that look forward to running around the little dog park on a daily basis. Come and check out this private community! It’s definitely made my life more peaceful!
