    DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!! Rent here if you: ❤️ Love your kitchen sink and floor being flooded every month by greasy and stinky water from old pipes and slow maintenance that won’t address your issue until two business days later 🐜 Love animals and especially swarm of ants that climbs onto your bed and bath room

    Edited to add more details and changed rating: Called the leasing office, then received text messages confirming a 12:30 pm tour. I even double-checked whether the office would be open during lunch, and was told the tour was confirmed. After driving there, the office was closed for lunch. Management later told me the texts were AI-generated and that the office was actually closed. This wasted a significant amount of my time, and their Google hours were also inaccurate. After I posted this review, management called me fairly quickly to explain that the text responses were AI-generated. They also offered me the possibility of a virtual tour and said they would submit a ticket to IT to fix the issue. I appreciate the follow-up, but this points to a broader operational problem. If the leasing office is closed during lunch, that should be reflected in their business hours, and their automated system should not be confirming in-person tours during that time. Regardless of whether the messages were AI-generated, it still caused me to drive there unnecessarily and waste a significant amount of time.

    My husband and I just moved into Mode this month and the process was fast, seamless, and super accomodating. Our leasing consultant Kaitlyn and her manager Sasha made sure to move our application through super fast as we had just sold our condo and needed a place to move into within a week. Kaitlyn gave us a tour and we fell into love with the place and turned in our application online within the hour and the rest of week we made sure to turn on utilities etc and set up our new place effortlessly. They are super fast, responsive and Mode now feels like home. What we’ve enjoyed the most of the community is how well kept, clean, and safe it is. The garage is gated as is the rest of the community and we have been able to use the resident cafe and gym - both super clean. We are in building 2 and it is very quiet and the best part is unlike other apartment complexes, Mode is very safe and doesn’t feel overcrowded unlike most of the other places we looked at. We’re glad we read the reviews beforehand as they were spot on!

    I’ve lived in my apartment here at MODE for eight years. The current management is the best I’ve had over the eight years and I’ve had I think four or five managers. Sasha is by far the best and Romel is the best maintenance man.Things happen you know things break and when they do, they are on top of it immediately I have absolutely no complaints. I’m extremely happy here and intend to stay here as long as they’ll have me. I love it here. It’s quiet as well run it’s clean and it’s home.

    Resident at this complex for 3 years - Management is passive aggressive, incompetent, and will ghost you for weeks unless you show up at the office, which is closed or empty half the time. Apartment is poorly built and falling apart (toilet leaking, cabinets breaking, faucets breaking, issues with heated water, garage door doesn’t work, key fobs don’t work). Parking is a mess because management changed the parking situation multiple times. This doesn’t even cover the constant train noises as a result from being right next to the Caltrain. When we first moved in, management was great but unfortunately they seem to cycle them out every couple years. Counting down the days until our lease is up.
