Lived here for seven years, which was about five too many, but moving is stressful and apartment was charming, and every year we were like "okay one more year and we'll finally move". Upsides: apartments are charming, pet friendly, and location is great – most things you might need are walkable. Other than that, everything is consistently terrible: * Management is slow to respond to any requests and for the most part ends up justifying doing nothing and goes in circles until you give up; * Utility fees are on "trust me bro" basis and just keep creeping up – what I was paying for my 1br was twice as much as a friend who had a 2br 2ba house with a backyard and laundry in the same city; * Appliances are ancient and run on hope; * Rent goes up every year (except COVID lockdown year IIRC) because, I quote "we have to make at least some increase". * Only available internet options are Xfinity and Astound, both are pretty awful and ancient wiring inside the building probably costs you half the throughput you pay for; * Laundry setup is wildly inadequate (nothing in-unit, 2 ancient machines for 18 apartments), people tend to hog it and sometimes would leave laundry to rot for days; * Trash removal is regularly just choosing to leave someone's bags in the corridors and stinking up the whole wing; * Heating is centralized and always turned on and off one-two weeks late, so you would freeze in October and boil in April; Save your nerves and just find something else in the neighborhood.

I've lived here for almost two years. I reluctantly signed the second year lease but moving is expensive and time consuming so I did it. I won't be doing it again. These apartments are extremely overpriced and they will raise the rent each time you sign. They have 18 units and two communal washers and two driers that are always filthy and broken. The turnover rate for the managers here is high so they are not very helpful. They sent an email around asking how many people are living in each unit and what parking spot belonged to you. Unbelievably unorganized. Things don't get fixed half the time and when they do, it is done half assed. I keep getting blocked in my parking spot by other tenants and the management does nothing. Another thing they don't tell you is you have no control over the heat, it is on or off, you control it by opening your windows. If you are looking for an apartment, don't pick these.
