The manager here is what makes thus apartment complex disgusting. Her attitude towards all of the tenets with housing. She will say hello to you in the most disrespectful tone. This is not just a personal opinion but many others as well. I want my loving environment to be positive but it seems like she has a very jealous, ignorant, energy about her. She should keep her dramas at home separate from work. I understand reminding people of the policy when bent but to then harass each and every tenant for fun is just miserable. Going out of your way to attempt to project your self hate is only going to continue the miserable life that someone is currently loving. I really hope and pray that one say she might considering changing her ways because what you put in the universe comes back 10x stronger.

It is one the worst community ever. The leasing office wont help you in any case. Frequent thefts the happening. Join a better community don’t consider joining this. You will regret it.

My partner lives here and this place is a nightmare. Twice they have towed our cars between 2-4am because we arrived after business hours and when we went to get a parking permit the minute the office opened in the morning we found out the cars were towed in the middle of the night. The lady in the office is awful. They treat residents like it’s college dorms and find any reason to charge fines. Do not live here.

I have been a tenant at Valley West Apartments, and in my experience, management has made the rent payment process unnecessarily stressful. In August, I hand-delivered my rent on the 4th day of the month, but management still insisted I pay by money order. The lease itself says this requirement only applies if rent is paid after the 5th day, so I was surprised when they ignored their own lease language. In September, their payment system double-charged me despite the fact that I had turned off autopay. I disputed the duplicate transaction with my bank under the Fair Credit Billing Act, which gives tenants the right to contest billing errors. My rent was fully paid and cleared, but management again restricted me to money orders only. When I provided documentation from Chase and screenshots proving that my rent was paid in full, management’s response was simply that “policy still stands.” In my view, this disregards California Civil Code §1947.3, which requires landlords to allow at least one non-cash, non-electronic payment method (such as a personal check). For me, the issue isn’t about the inconvenience of buying money orders — it’s about management ignoring both the lease terms and state law, even after being shown proof. I would encourage future tenants to be aware of these practices before renting here. Additionally, I have experienced repeated package theft here, including the theft of my passport. Despite multiple reports and video evidence, management has taken no steps to improve security. Instead, they insisted that I remove my personal package box — the only measure that had been preventing further theft. For me, the issue is not just about convenience. It’s about management ignoring both the lease terms and state law, while also failing to address basic security concerns. I would encourage future tenants to be aware of these practices before renting here.
