The management and leasing team are professional, responsive, and genuinely care about residents. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, which makes a huge difference in day-to-day living. Communication is clear, and the team does a great job keeping residents informed. The location is another standout—convenient, walkable, and close to great dining, shopping, and outdoor spaces. Overall, Vela Apartment Homes offers a high-quality living experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-run community with a welcoming atmosphere.

  Vela Apartments sent me a bad check after I moved out. I deposited a check they sent me and it bounced.

  Was going to move here, but due to unfortunate events I had to withdraw from my holding deposit. I contacted Ashley from management via email and this lady seems clueless.. I tried to be respectful and reasonable with them, it’s only $200 but in the current status of the economy $200 is $200. Since I didn’t have a permanent residence I asked to have the holding deposit check sent to Vela and I pick it up. She ensured me she would, fast forward over 20 days later when I asked for a refund status she told me that the check was mailed to my prior address that’s on file. Mind you I have no connection with that apartment no more and don’t have access to the mail. She just gave me some run around apology I’m so grateful I didn’t move here and have to deal with this clueless management. I still hope I can or will get my money back.
