- JSJacob SandinorOct 12, 20255.0I recently took a tour of Mira Vista. It’s a cute community of really nice townhomes, at the top of the hill that is just east of Mission Bay. They are brand new, as construction was completed in 2025. They are definitely in an excellent location. Very central, with quick access to the beach, UTC, Torrey Pines, even downtown/Little Italy, Pt. Loma, and the airport are only a few mins drive. The builder/construction company, Toll Brothers, seems to have done a great job. The inside of the ones that I toured looked quite fancy/luxury, with solid accents, really good flooring and quality cabinetry, higher-end appliances, and large primary bedrooms with attached bathrooms and walk-in closets. Some even have a nice ocean view in the distance, and a lush canyon bordering the community on the west and south sides of it provides a lot of visually-pleasing greenery/nature. Also, because the canyon leads straight to the bay, without any hills in the way, you get a fantastic ocean breeze. Overall, definitely high on my list of places I am considering moving to within San Diego!
