  La Serena is a fantastic place to live and lives up to it's name - it's serene and tranquil. To start the renovated apartment I received has been great and better than any apartments we toured in the area. Almost everything was completely updated and the finshed unit was perfect for our needs with ample space to make it feel like a proper home. Management and maintenance are phenomenal: They are incredibly friendly and quick to answer your questions, just last night I submitted a maintenance request and a little over 12 hours later is being resolved eventhough it wasn't urgent. Lyn and Adreanne are great with any questions or concerns and I couldn't be more satisified with their hospitality. I am grateful to be apart of the community here. Pros: - Grounds are well kept and always clean. - Your parking spot is very close to your unit. - Apartments are very spacious and modern. Top floors have vaulted ceilings which make it feel more open and the luxury carpet removes any echos a ceiling like that would normally cause. Huge closet and the sound proofing is great! - For it's price range, nearly unbeatable. Great area that is super safe, close to the freeway but far enough to where you can't hear it unlike most apartments in Rancho Bernardo. Everything you ever need is less than a 3-5 minute drive. - Staff is top notch all around - Neighbors friendly and quiet. - Amenities are nice - In unit washer/dryer - It's also in a room outside so you never hear it running. - Has EV chargers that have great pricing compared to public chargers. I own two Teslas and this makes life incredibly easy. There is always spots open and there is a total of 10. - You get an external storage room right outside of your unit, very useful. - For my unit specifically, has an unbeatable view to the distant hills. For privacy I won't be adding photos but the photos provided by La Serena honestly don't do the units enough justice and are nicer(and larger) in person. Cons: - Not really any to be honest at least to me.

  Beautiful complex with tasteful updates. Lyn, Adreanne, and the maintenance staff have all been equally wonderful. They are communicative, kind and efficient. I am soo thankful my boyfriend and I were able to get into such an exceptional community. We love calling La Serena our new home. This community is a hidden gem with so many amenities. It is conveniently located with so many restaurants, stores, and other amenities less than a 5 min drive away. From the day we submitted our application, Lyn has been in constant communication and ensured we had everything in line to make for a quick and easy move in. La Serena has surpassed our expectations. Thank you ALL so much! We are very grateful.
