  I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THESE APARTMENTS TO MY ENEMY , NO SCARY , HOMELESS PEOPLE EVERYWHERE , VIOLENCE IS OUT OF CONTROL , NO SECURITY , ITS DIRTY BEYOND MEASURE

  Truly the worst apartment complex I’ve ever experienced. The horrible management fought me over any type of complaint or request. They endlessly threatened me with eviction for having plants on my balcony after I complained about the managements handling of a neighbor constantly parking in my assigned spot. So many people with with literal garbage on the balconies for months and literal years but my handful of plants were a problem… and then when it came time to renew my lease I clearly signed an agreement for month to month and when I get my copy of the new lease it was a 12 month lease. Thankfully kept a copy of my original lease renewal request and STILL had a horrible experience and had to argue with the manager to honor the month to month agreement I signed for. On top of the horrid management there are so many terrible neighbors. It’s a borderline slum. Garbage everywhere, fireworks going off, car break ins. Just an awful place to live and I’m so glad I’ll never have to deal with it again.

  I recently moved into the apartment complex and had a few maintenance requests, including a dryer door issue, a broken blind, and some rust at the bottom of the oven. I understand the team is short-staffed and managing a high volume of tickets, so I truly appreciated their effort to fit me in. They were able to come by on Friday and address everything they could. The blinds were replaced, and although the oven couldn’t be fully resolved, they did their best. A part has been ordered for the dryer door, and I’m hopeful that will be fixed soon. Overall, I’m very grateful for the maintenance team’s time, effort, and professionalism especially given how busy they are. Their help did not go unnoticed. Thank you Woodland

  DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS PLACE!! Chargeback was done to avoid sueing, passion lied multiple times and then tried to say my deposit is less due to application fee being removed when it was 2 transactions… passion needs to be let go along with everyone in that office! Did my application, paid my 200 for holding deposit, then thought maybe I should check the reviews which I’m so glad I did. Literally every single comment says cockroaches and rats or mice and let’s not forget about not giving back deposits which is one of the main reasons they have a class action lawsuit. I cancelled my application immediately after reading tons and tons of the same bad reviews. They tried to tell me that my deposit was non refundable after 48 hours which is against the law to start because that time shouldn’t even start from till the time I was approved which it started on the time I made the deposit when approved. Immone said it would take 3-4 days to do my application so in theory my deposit was gone the second I paid it. Eventually got managers approval for return of my deposit on the17th of February, immone started ignoring emails after she said her manager approved the return of my deposit nobody would answer the phone but if I called from my work phone they would answer immediately. Every single time I called I dealt with a new person one day I even dealt with the maintenance supervisor….today is Easter April 5th and still no return of my deposit. California law gives them up to 21 days to return deposits we’re going on over 40 days….. First time they said it was in the mail to be delivered to my house, second time it was coming to the office and I could pick it up then I got an email from passion who avoided taking my calls out of the 30 times I asked to speak with her, employee said she was in a meeting with her boss and I was getting upset on the phone and she chimed in from listening on speaker phone as I could hear her coaching the employee on what to tell me then she finally spoke to me herself, the employee told me I had to email her I did never got a response till the other day she said that I had insufficient funds in my bank and my deposit was returned which was a LIE!! I called my bank verified that it was taken out and nothing was ever returned. Passion lied don’t forget that. So not only are they lying they are scamming folks out of their money they play them as stupid. I called to talk to passion and yet again refused to take my calls and kept to the line of I had insufficient funds in my bank which is a lie have over 6 grand in the bank account. The gentleman on the phone said that she told me to take whatever course needed from this point and even agreed with me saying that they get a ton of calls and complaints about deposits being kept. At the end of the day do your due diligence and homework before signing a contract here, walk the property talk to people that live there hell read the millions of horrible comments. This is not a safe apartment complex people are getting shot and killed cars constantly broken into repairs not being made, passion you came to the apartments I actually moved to and told them you can’t take it at the woodlands anymore because of the cock roaches. Also I will be sueing them for my 200$ and my legal fees so 200$ is now Turing into 5000$+ Be smart people if they are gonna screw over new tenants what do you think the case will be when your stuck In A lease here? People in comments say they pay the double rent just to get out of there some aren’t as fortunate to be able to do that and they are stuck in a home they aren’t happy or comfortable in don’t get screwed because they ain’t diddy they don’t provide no baby oil Passion clearly can’t manage the property Immone horrible leasing agent The only person who actually did what they said they would do is khari Update 4/25 only took 68 days to get my refund but not by them it was a dispute with my bank don’t trust these crooks

  I came here to start over, have more amenities thinking with how much I'm paying im getting something decent. Nope, one of the worst experiences of my life. Rats, roches, maintaince blatantly ignoring safety of my child and I, things constantly breaking down or falling off, when I first moved in the front office told me whatever isn't cleaned can't "you" just do it? 2 times i think back that my daughter and I could have had our house burnt down because whoever reads the maintaince reports ignores the terrified concerns I wrote. I finally had a enough when we are getting chased out our house by rats. Not just the inside environment but outside is toxic as well, homelessness is a huge issue, I've watched multiple fights 2 of them got ran over. Police are there all the time, and murders just constant unsafe and uncomfortable living conditions. Here's the kicker, I haven't received a dime of my deposit back and I moved out in January! Woodlands has some explaining to do and money to give back for the terrified screams of my daughter in the night fleeing from rats. I did nothing wrong but pay my expensive rent to now be homeless with my child because being homeless was the safer option. They ruined my entire holiday season. To be treated the way we were and the office people except Julian! Julian showed me a lot of compassion but everyone else just didn't give a shit. I work so hard I did deserve to be treated as if my rights don't matter. do not live here!
