  Leasing agents here are a joke, they will ignore you and give you the run around about everything. The actual management here does not hold leasing agents accountable. So they sit around all day ignoring the tenants, they only care about trying to move people in, not about doing their job when it comes to the tenants.

  If you’re planning to live here, read all of the 1 star reviews first. They are all true! All of the 5 star reviews you see here are literally bought — they offered incentives for showing them you’ve left a 5 star. We assumed new management meant that all the old reviews were simply old, but the place lived up to every single one of them. We lived there for 2 years. The maintenance team is the only redeeming quality, but the office doesn’t communicate with them so it can take literal months for things to get addressed. Insulation is bad and moisture inside caused the carpets to always be wet, everything smelled like mildew. Our AC broke and it took over a year for them to fix it. Security lights on the building have been out for over a month with no explanation. The security gates are almost never closed (we honestly think they have a deal with the expo for parking). The whole complex is no-smoking, but people smoke all day on their porches without consequence. We had things stolen off our porch and no one cared or even addressed the issue. They don’t have enough grounds people so it’s always dirty with dog poop everywhere. Trash service is not always daily as advertised, so there is always trash in the walkways. There are cockroaches on property. Noise bleed from the Expo is much worse than you would expect. They didn’t give us our rent renewal options until after the deadline for 30-day move out notice, so there was no choice but to continue at an increased rate. Shady and illegal practices. Don’t be fooled by the smiley face-people in the office, they will say whatever they need to in order to get new tenants. Run far away from The Palms!!

  Let’s start by saying that prior to moving in they mistakenly shared my credit score with my employer and I had left a message to make them aware and I didn’t even get so much as a return call or an apology. Then after waiting months to get someone here to fix various things since I moved in I finally got someone here after 2 months and it turns out that one of the most important things they sad they fixed (my washing machine) isn’t fixed so I notified them and it’s been over a week and still haven’t heard back. Keep in mind I’m still pending various maintenance issues. They basically have a 2 man maintenance team it turns out for this entire complex of over 525 units out. Maintenance definitely isn’t to blame it’s obvious. They are overworked and frustrated is my guess.
