Nice apartments with plenty of amenities. A secure location while still being close enough to experience sac while staying away from traffic. Julia among other staff made our stay easy through every stage of our stay.

This is a really spacious complex. Very open, very clean too. Lots of parking. The units are a good size too. All around, 👌🏽

Chris and Julia have done a great job the past year making the complex better. Any issues are addressed urgently and communication is always clear. This complex location is easy access to freeways and close to Sac State, grocery stores etc. I especially love the onsite food truck days and yard sale.

We’ve enjoyed living at Rivercrest Apts! When we first were preparing to move in around 2024, there was a different property manager and while everyone was very nice, they were not the most organized. They did provide us with cookie dough and supplies to bake cookies in our apt upon move in though! Since then, a new property manager was hired and there’s a lot of new friendly faces in the leasing office. Everyone has been nice and helpful. My dog would love to go to the leasing office to get a small baggy of dog treats they put out. We’ve loved how close the apartment complex is to the Howe River access, and it’s been so nice to go for walks. There’s also a park about a mile away so that’s another nice walk too. When it was time to renew our lease, Chris was very helpful given our family’s upcoming transition with my partner’s start of medical school and worked with us to move to month-to-month. Our apt was clean and we had no issues with pests whatsoever. The appliances were very dated, but still functional. We learned that while our stove worked, it was off by about 100 degrees so we bought a thermometer to put in the oven when we needed to know the exact temperature. Laundry was on site and is a shared communally laundry rooms with the rest of the community of apts. There is a small dog park and lots of other cool amenities (pools, gym, courts, etc., but I never used them. Chris also started implementing regular food trucks at least once a month and did a yard sale as well for tenants. Ramon and the other maintenance staff (I’m sorry I never learned their names) were always very friendly and responsive to any issues that arose in the apt. Our neighbors were fairly quiet and it rarely was noisy past 11pm. I would see security go around at night patrolling. My car was never broken into, but I was also very on top of making sure I never left anything in my car either. Our apt was behind a tree so we had nice covering from direct sun inside. Julia was super helpful as we prepared to move out of our apt. She guided my partner on the logistics of moving out and the final inspection. For us, this apt worked out well, was reasonably priced, close to nature spaces, and near my work. Would recommend to other folks as well! As a quick side rant, don’t let other reviews talking about unhoused folks worry you. The homeless folks I’ve interacted with have always been very kind. I’ve never felt unsafe whatsoever. They’ve been really nice to both my dog and myself, and I’d give them water because Sac gets so hot and offer my recycling. They are human beings deserving of respect and have shown me compassion in my own endeavors.
