  McKenzie at Natomas park is an adorable community! The property manager, Toni, is great! If you are looking for a new home in the Natoma’s area, I would highly recommend McKenzie!

  These apartment complex are really good they are very spacious and clean . Manger behavior is really really sweet . They are very near to all the convenience stores

  I’ve been here almost 1 year. When I initially was shown an apt it looked great. But the day I moved in. It wasn’t the apartment I was shown. It didn’t have the updates the initial apt had. But there was nothing I could do. Also I’m now faced with having no A/C. It’s been broken for 3 days. They gave me a portable n expect me to cool the whole apartment with it for what I’ve bn told could b a month. I’ve asked for another portable unit but they don’t have one. They won’t help compensate with the bill because it has to run all the time to keep it cool and they definitely aren’t sympathetic by any means. They didn’t even notify me initially that I wouldn’t be having A/C. I had to call them to follow-up. I use to think this was a good place to live but that was when I just had to pay my rent. I’ve called the corporate office and they’ve never called back either. I would definitely NOT recommend this place.

  Don't expect to get your deposit back. They are extremely greedy and dishonest when it comes to that. Even when you leave your apartment spotless, they charge you for carpet cleaning and new paint which somehow they add it up to your deposit amount. Coincidence? I don't think so. They even go as far as charging you even more than what your deposit covers. I've never had an apartment complex keep my deposit. Free parking is hard to find. Half of the tenants must park on the street. Also they promise regular on site security, but in reality they're only there when you call them. We got our bike stolen from our 2ND story patio. We let management know, it didn't really concern them. The staff was nice until the last month we were there. Their attitudes changed real quick. I've never had such a bad move out experience like this before. Very disappointing.

  I have lived at McKenzie off and on since 2013. I have lived in 5 different apartments in 4 different buildings on the property. When my employer transfers me out of state, I only return to McKenzie when I’m relocated back to Sacramento. I am extremely pleased with the management, maintenance, and the grounds. I have never had my vehicle stolen or vandalized. I rent a garage but park in the open lot most of the time. They have security that patrols the community at night. I have rented in this community when it was under two different managers. Both were excellent and kept the community peaceful, clean, and safe. Our current management team is awesome as well! Ms. Toni is fabulous! Mr. Glen is fabulous as well! The maintenance staff (Steven and Matt) have also been excellent. If there is a non-emergent issue, I have been contacted well within 24 hours and for emergent issues, there is someone on-call. The entire staff are courteous, professional, fun, and vested in keeping the community a great place to live. No pest control issues. When the seasons change, You can call/ email the office if you want to be on the list for your unit to be sprayed. As I mentioned above, I have lived in multiple apartments on the property. My move out and move in experience were not complicated and the deposit I received was fair. You can request a pre- move out inspection to capture any outstanding issues. However, everyone knows that no matter where you rent, you will not get 100% of your deposit back. My deposit was always fair. Now one thing I will add is that management does follow the community rules that are provided to you in the welcome packet so as long as you also abide by the rules, you won’t have any issues. The rules are like no smoking on the property, picking up after your pets, not having glass in the pool area. This is a non-smoking community. Things like that help keep the community looking good. Oh did I mention we have new gym equipment also! And yes it is FREE ! We also have a fabulous pool, hot tub, 2 grill areas, community clubhouse with new furniture! As you can tell, I call McKenzie my home away from home! I would highly recommend McKenzie.
