  Make sure any promises are received in writing or else you’ll be told it never happened, management and staff behaved like a bunch of mean girls and had been throwing me in circles for a month now only to be told in the end that I will not get what’s promised because the staff member “doesn’t remember”. Not only will you not get what was promised but you’ll be treated terribly for asking for it.

  LAKE UPDATE- After a year waiting for the lake to fill management is now planning on turning the pit into a park…my guess is they will find a reason to put that project off another year as well. FAKE REVIEWS!!! All these 5 star reviews all happened exactly 4 days ago at the same time.. Most likely planted or paid reviews. Everyone I talk to has nothing but complaints. They will also charge you for a water view if you are near the “lake” and they have no intention on removing the water view charge. Super greedy and unfair.. We have also been robbed within our first few months here. So it is not exactly safe. PARKING is impossible on weekends and anytime after 5pm. You will have to park on the outside of the gate where your car can get broken into. Not sure why space is so limited but in our two bedroom we are allowed one designated parking spot and the other person has to hurry home to snag a guest spot. Not ideal. Last thing is they have no authority on who parks their vehicles here. Broken down cars whose alarms go off day and night without license plates can park here whenever they want waking the neighbors up at 2am. The office has never taken care of what needs to be done.

  I give employee Tim White 5 stars for exceptional courtesy and professionalism. Tim was assigned to make requested repairs on my unit and Tim went above and beyond to make sure repairs were made to my specifications and needs. Upon completion, Tim kindly disposed of the trash sitting outside my door! A very special gentlemen. Harbor Oaks wouldn’t be the same without Tim!! Thank you Harbor Oaks for Tim If I may add to this review: I am so pleased with the new office staff!!! Madisen if so super special. Not only dis Madi recognize my face, she also knows me by name and always acknowledges me whenever our paths cross making me feel valued as a resident not like past office staff. And let’s not forget about Ryan the assistant property manager. Ryan is ALWAYS available to assist with whatever needs and/or concerns you may have. Ryan is super pleasant, approachable, and accommodating with the most warm and inviting smile. Ryan went out of his way to locate and delivery my misplaced package! I really appreciate Ryan and am thankful for his servitude and humility. Ryan had not allowed his much deserved position alienate him from his residents! Ryan is definitely a 8 out of 5 stars! LOVE ME SOME LEE!! The HARDEST WORKING MAN IN SACRAMENTO!!

  I've lived here for over four years and there have been many changes. The staff are still great but unfortunately the quality of living here has gone down

  Harbor Oaks staff and maintenance personnel absolutely rock. Been here 13 years and still going.
