  I lived at Allegria in Roseville for about two years and recently moved out. This was by far the worst renting experience I’ve ever had. If I could give zero stars, I would. Management is extremely unresponsive (when you can even get ahold of them). Before move-out, someone showed up unannounced for a “pre-move-out inspection.” We had never been notified. My partner and I were both working at the time, and it was incredibly disruptive. After moving out, we were charged cleaning fees that appear completely unjustified. When we requested evidence of the “heavy soiling,” management provided low-quality inspection photos that showed no clear issues. The handling of our deposit was even worse. We moved out on 2/8 and received no communication at all until we reached out on 3/1 to ask about the status. We were told the check had been mailed on 2/19 which is not true and we have proof. They then told us to wait another week. We never received anything, so we had to call again to request a new check. Eventually, we received BOTH checks. The original envelope was postmarked 3/6, which clearly shows it was not mailed when they said it was, they simply failed to send it and decided to lie to us instead. Under California law, landlords have 21 days to provide either the deposit or an itemized statement. We happened to reach out on exactly day 21, at which point they finally provided the statement. Had we not followed up, they likely would have been in violation. Based on my experience, I would not trust this management team to handle deposits properly, and I would not recommend living here. And to the inevitable automated response: we have already attempted to resolve these issues directly with the leasing office multiple times.

  Came to visit my son from out of state. Almost impossible to find a place to park but then...the trash was everywhere and dead mice..by curbs..middle of the drive...in the cracks of the road..what in the world...disgusting. It was clear to me that the management here does not care about this complex. Its the kind of place you would never want your kids to live! I would never recommend this place to anyone.

  Just moved out but lived here for over two years and it went down hill fast. I've had my car broken into, trash is left all over the complex, all sorts of strange solids/liquids left to bake on the sidewalks, no guest parking, tires being deflated by other residents, and many more lovely experiences! Then pivoting to the move out experience I thought it would be fairly smooth, but fast forward over a month from returning my keys and I still do not have my deposit check back. I was charged for cleaning fees and soiling fees but they are unable to provide any evidence to support these charges and insist that they were needed to bring it back into their move in ready status. In fact the charge details I requested only outline turn over cleaning. My suggestions is to avoid this complex, but if you do move there don't bother documenting anything because they will charge you regardless. Attached are some of the photos displaying apartment cleanliness when I moved in for their "Move in standards" per their below statement: "The cleaning charges and the additional heavy soiling charge were determined based on the vendor’s assessment and the work required to bring the unit back to our community’s move-in standards for the next resident. The invoices you received reflect the vendor’s services for that work."

  Not very happy with this apartment complex at all I payed a $200 holding deposit and ended up getting denied so I was told my money would be returned to my bank account in a couple of days. Fast forward 3 days later I called back and a leasing agent informed me I would get it back in 21 days which would’ve been December 31st. And guess what still no holding deposit. So I called the leasing office again and was told I have to wait 21 business days and because of the holidays it might take a little longer. When the law states an apartments can’t hold your holding deposit for more than 21 days and that’s including holidays and weekends. (per California Civil Code § 1950.5. This deadline includes weekends and holidays). Today is Jan 9th and my holding deposit still hasn’t been sent back… they have had my deposit for 29 days now. Please think before paying a deposit or even thinking about moving in here seems like they don’t follow the laws and rules. Great leasing agents through haven’t had a problem with them yet.
