    These apartments are beautiful inside and out with bbq areas a gym and a pool to enjoy with the kids or a place to get some sun after a long day. The people are friendly, your pets are welcome, covered or garage parking and there’s always a spot for your guests to park. They do cost a pretty penny but it’s close to local shopping and restaurants

    I’ve lived here for years bc we love the location & the layout, but bad management has finally chased us out. When we moved in our apt was not clean. I found a dog food lid and hair in the laundry room area and we do not have a dog—gross. The bathroom grout was filthy in the high traffic areas. Sticky light switches and our blind slats held up by scotch tape. We have crumbling/peeling “modern, custom” cabinets and cracked/broken “high end” counter tops—which I tried to fix myself with a $20 repair kit from Amazon. I literally spent weeks cleaning up and repairing this “luxury” apt! (Never complained about any of this, btw.) The dishwasher did not work. I put in a service request. Long story short, it took them 1.5 YEARS to fix it—by replacing our nice one (with all the bells and whistles) with a bottom of the barrel, cheap piece of junk that doesn’t get the dishes clean. Every year they come do inspections and I reported that my closet rod had been broken since we moved in (2 yrs in a row) and they wrote it down & filed it in the trashcan. I finally put in a service request. When they showed up, the maintenance man looked annoyed I had clothes in my closet—uh, sorry! He told me to move everything in my closet. He just stood there and watched me move every dang thing out of my closet. He put one small screw in and left. I moved everything back into my closet and the rod immediately fell down again. Once again, we had to fix it ourselves. We had a leak under the kitchen sink. We had to chase them down over several days to get them to take care of it. Maintenance showed up, complaining about how he was supposed to be off 10 min ago, like that’s my fault. He put some glue on the pipes and left within 3 minute—did not wipe up the mess under there or test anything. My husband came home and looked—yep, still leaking. They have not fixed one thing properly and in a timely manner since I moved here. The gates have also been broken on and off since we moved here. This time it’s been a year since our gates have worked properly, A YEAR, even though we pay for a gated community!! The latest is our air conditioning dying & the whole unit needs to be replaced. I put in a request almost a MONTH AGO (3/18/26) and still no working air conditioning! (As of 4/13/26) But today the office staff marked my service request as complete after ignoring my emails and not returning phone calls. I spoke to someone and asked for it to be reopened—which was also ignored—surprise, surprise. They told us they couldn’t find the lightbulbs for the kitchen for months. At one point I was using my flashlight to help cook, lol. But they repeatedly close my work orders without them being resolved! I called the office once because someone was in my parking place. I was told by the staff that she didn’t feel like walking all the way over to my parking space to tag the car so just wait for them to leave. Don’t get me started about the dogs barking. Some days it sounds like we live in a dog kennel! Of course I have to keep the windows open because I dont have air conditioning!!! And we’re paying $2,600+/month (2 bedroom) to be treated like this. I’m done.

    Biggest annoyance/complaint that might bother you would be that in the almost year I’ve lived here, the gate only ever worked the first weekend. After that it’s either remained opened unable to close and/or the tags we pay $50 for just stopped working and were supposed to be re-issued. Never heard back. Doesn’t bother me much except on rainy days when I have to punch in a code because the tag doesn’t work. I’ve asked for updates and understand they have none, but would appreciate a more proactive plan to resolve this and communicate regularly with residents. Requested an additional key once and they asked if I wanted an additional car tag too…. Anyway, I’ve enjoyed living here overall, Janis in the office and the maintenance team are great! Just surprised that with the cost to live here the gate hasn’t worked in nearly a year, as well as pool issues, and some minor apartment quirks.

    Not sure why I’m bothered with these so often from Garnet Creek, they rarely address them and when they do, it’s lip service like any other apartment complex. Slow to fix gates, slow to enforce rules. Regret living here.
