I am honestly thankful I did not move into this community. Based on how this situation has been handled, I feel like I avoided a much bigger problem. I had put down a $600 security deposit for a unit but did not end up finalizing the lease. I was clearly told the deposit would be refunded and sent to me in the mail. It never arrived. I have put down deposits at other properties before, and every single one was refunded promptly, usually through a simple electronic transfer. This is the only place where it has turned into a drawn out and frustrating process. What followed was weeks of constant follow ups with little to no response. Emails are ignored, responses are inconsistent, and there is no accountability from either management or their accounting department. I was told a check had been sent, but there was no proof and no effort to resolve the issue after I made it clear nothing was received. It has now been months and I still do not have my deposit back. At this point, it seems like the only way to get a security deposit back from this company is to take them to court. If you are considering renting here, think twice. Based on my experience, communication from this office is unreliable and once issues come up, you should not expect timely responses or proper follow through.

Had a great experience with Charles during the leasing process. He was always available and very helpful.

During the tour I tested the gas stove with permission and mentioned that one of the burners didn’t seem to be working. As I was explaining this, the leasing agent interrupted me and shouted, saying, “Are we done?” He repeated this in increasing volume each time I tried to finish my sentence about the burner. After I stopped talking, he asked why I was “so picky.” I explained that I had previously dealt with a cockroach issue at another building and was just trying to be careful. He responded, “I deal with them all the time. Better than bedbugs.” Then added "Not at this building". If you tour, check out the package room first. A resident came to complain about it as I was waiting and it was messy

Package lockers arent utilized leaving boxes open to theft and misplacement. Also the package room is constantly overwhelmed with 100s of boxes and people will smash your packages.

Don’t even consider living in this apartment. 1. The leasing office is completely unresponsive. When I announced my last month, my rent increased by $2000. I visited them four times, requesting a detailed breakdown of the cost, but they never responded. The leasing office is empty. I recall one day when I raised an issue about the trash valet. The leasing person told me to deal with it and asked why I was making a fuss. 2. The trash valet is the worst experience ever. They don’t pick up the trash on time, but they also penalize you. They leave you notes, and if you leave your trashcan outside, they’ll retaliate. 3. The mailroom is the worst. I’ve lost over $1000 in the mail room because no one organizes it. When I went to the office, they said it was complicated, but that only shows incompetence. If they were competent, they would put up a few shelves and label them for different floors. The mail people would then put the boxes in the shelves, but these people are extremely incompetent and don’t care about you. 4. The gym equipment is very old and noisy. The treadmills make extreme noise and hurts your knees. They don’t plan to renovate the gym equipment, and there’s limited equipment, so you can’t do any workouts.
