  We came in for a tour this past Friday. We’ve had a difficult experience at our last apartment. I have a 5 year old son with special needs and disabilities, I also have a 7 month old daughter. My fiancé and I toured with Ezra. He was truly amazing, my son is delayed and after we entered the first apartment my son went up to Ezra and we explained his disabilities as well as his personality, he is a cuddle bug. Ezra asked for permission before picking up my son and explained he has nephews as well. He made us feel at home. We have had great communication with Ezra and the team in regards to the new apartment. We’re really excited to enjoy this community. Thank you to the team and thank you to Ezra we truly appreciate you.

  Absolutely love this place. We worked with Kay she walked us through a tour. She was super helpful and answered all of my questions, which I had a lot of. During the tour I noticed that the gym is super nice and clean. Over all, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend to others.

  My move-in experience at Oak Brook was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Despite paying, I was initially refused my key and told I could not move in due to an employee’s lunch break, which set the tone for the rest of my experience. Since then, I’ve encountered repeated discrepancies, dismissive responses to my concerns, and treatment that has felt unequal and unfair. For the high cost of living here, the level of service and added fees are frustrating and not justified. The only consistently positive part of this community has been the maintenance team. As a Black woman, I have felt noticeably unwelcome in my interactions with management, and the difference in treatment has been difficult to ignore. Respect and professionalism should be standard for every resident, regardless of background. My rent is paid like everyone else’s, and I expect to be treated with the same courtesy and fairness. They are currently threatening to tow my vehicle—even though I am a paying tenant—from a parking space I made every effort to properly request and secure, simply because a new resident has moved in across the hall, and they never updated my vehicle information, leaving my car at risk of being towed for the past four months until I received a 5 PM call interrupting a personal appointment to address their oversight.
