  My wife and I lived here for over 2 years and it was wonderful! The apartment complex is extremely well managed. Haydee, the apartment manager, is awesome, she’s super kind and warm, caring and helpful, she’s a big reason why our time living at Los Robles Apartments was so great. A big shoutout to Javier as well, the maintenance captain, also a very kind and helpful person, and he was always efficient with anything we needed. Other staff were always polite and kept the building really well maintained. Moving in and out was a breeze and a positive experience. I’ll also mention that the online system is great and straightforward, it made everything really easy for things like paying rent, downloading or uploading documents, maintenance requests, etc. There are too many good things I could say about this place so I’ll try to stick to the highlights. To start off, the building is super quiet, I absolutely loved that. The sound isolation between apartments is excellent, plus the area is quiet and safe. I never even heard my neighbors, no voices, no footsteps, no loud music, it was always super calm and the neighbors are very respectful. The apartment itself was very nice, our quality of life here was great! It’s very spacious and the layout lends itself well to make a cozy home. The appliances are modern and work great, plus it has many useful features like bathroom mirror with light, fan with adjustable speeds, dimmable lights in the bedroom, living room and dining room, there’s ample storage space and a nice balcony. The parking garage is spacious, safe and well lit. And although the weather is awesome in LA, keep in mind that Pasadena is a bit on the hotter side, but between the fan and the AC it was not a problem. The amenities are very nice too. There’s a gym, a pool, a sauna, a pretty courtyard and the Luxer One locker system here is fantastic! We never had issues with our packages. My personal favorite was the gym, it may look small but it’s clean, comfortable and makes it super easy to sneak quick workouts into busy schedules. Last but not least, the area is fantastic and this location is amazing! There are many awesome things nearby like downtown Pasadena (several times we simply walked to get there), the Pasadena Convention Center (also within walking distance), the Rose Bowl Stadium, the Huntington Library, great restaurants, museums, grocery stores, hikes, health services, and more. Pasadena is beautiful. Plus, you’re a short drive away from downtown LA and many other fun things going on around Greater LA. It’s also a beautiful area to go out for a walk, there’s plenty of greenery around, some quiet streets and other people strolling around the neighborhood. I’ve lived in many different apartment complexes and felt compelled to leave a review because our experience here was amazing. Happy to have called this place our home! Great memories, thank you!

  I have been living here for almost two years. The old building (built in the early 70s) is undergoing a painstakingly slow and extremely superficial renovation process that has left parts of the building in poor shape. The ceilings in the hallways, for example, have been in disrepair for months now. The grounds have not been kept very well. There are major signs of wear along walls and painted surfaces. There is no single design aesthetic across the building either. There are strange structural problems as well (leaks, un-leveled surfaces, etc.). Several times over the past months, there have been maintenance workers in the underground garage examining water leaks, I think from cracks in the structure. Certainly the heavy rains haven't helped to hide these structural problems.
