I normally don’t write reviews, but after dealing with multiple issues since moving in, I feel it’s important to share my experience.
Shortly after moving into the apartment, our water heater leaked and flooded part of the unit, requiring maintenance to come vacuum up water from the floors. Unfortunately, the leak left residue throughout the apartment, which meant I had to have the unit professionally cleaned again shortly after moving in.
In fact, I had already paid to have the apartment professionally cleaned once at move-in, because the unit did not appear to be properly prepared. There were multiple cleanliness and maintenance issues including:
-Dirty electrical outlets and light switches
-Debris and buildup in the window tracks
-A washer that had visible dirt and residue around the hinge area
-Loose screws and unfinished repairs inside cabinets
For the amount of rent being charged, I expected the apartment to be properly cleaned, inspected, and ready for move-in, not requiring additional cleaning at my own expense.
There has also been an ongoing accessible parking issue.
One of the handicap spaces near our unit is extremely faded and poorly marked, which has led to vehicles without placards parking there. I have reported this multiple times to the leasing office, but it has still not been repainted or properly addressed.Because I care for a family member with mobility limitations, clearly marked accessible parking is extremely important.Considering the rent is around $2700 per month, I expected a much higher level of maintenance and responsiveness from management.
I have documented these issues with photos and have also reported them to the leasing office. I hope management addresses these concerns so that future residents have a
better experience.
