  Do not waste your money here like I have. Issue #1 which is the maintenance workers. They walk into your apartment, sometimes without notice (management will try to convince you that you've been notified), they have walked into all of my roommate's bedrooms while they were sleeping, and they do not clean up after themselves after they have done work (personal garbage left in my unit, thick layers of dust and dirt from work, and damage to personal property). Issue #2 is that there are frequent water shut offs that last for 8 hours multiple times a week, and the fire alarm will constantly go off during the day or it will go off in the middle of the night at least a couple times a month. Issue #3 the AC does not come on in the summer months unless the night time low is 10 degrees. A few days ago my unit was sitting at 28 degrees for over 3 days because management is cheap and won't put on the air. Once it hit 10 degrees at night they did turn on the AC... only to find out it was broken, so we had to wait a few more days for it to be fixed. Issue #4 is cockroaches and pests. My personal unit has fortunately not run into this issue but we had workers in our unit doing inspections because other units have suffered this issue. Issue #5 is the general management. We were kicked out of our unit in October 2025 and were only given 2 days to do a full move out. They accommodated me with a room at a different building which was much smaller with no personal bathroom and I had to pay the same price as I was paying for my room here. On top that, there is current maintenance happening building wide with may disruptions from maintenance as mentioned, and there is no rent reduction. Management also took over a month's rent out of my roommates bank account while the food happened (she found her own accommodation) and had to fight for months to get it back. There has also been at least 2 floods in this building causing at least half the building to move out while I have been living here for the past 3 years (they won't let me break the lease). They also tell you to email them if you have questions or concerns and they never answer you. Absolutely not worth it, any place is better than living at the Marq.

  The management has been extremely disappointing. Our unit was completely flooded after a major water pipe burst, forcing us to leave. Just two days later, all of our belongings were packed into boxes with almost no notice. We received an email at 9:00 AM while I was at work, leaving us no time to prepare. It has now been over a month, and management continues to say they are waiting on external contractors. However, they have not provided a clear timeline about when we can expect to return to our unit. The lack of communication has made an already stressful situation much worse. I have exams coming up, and we have had to move multiple times within a short period. Without a timeline, it is impossible to plan our housing situation. I understand that emergencies happen, but I have never experienced lack of concern. This is the worst property management experience I have ever had. I would not recommend living here to anyone.

  Gym was good for an apartment building and maintenance was always fast. Good staff especially cleaning staff.

  The building has the worst management I've seen for a very long time. There's always some ongoing issue which will impact you. There was no water because of the maintainance of water pipeline and then there was a pipe burst due to which there was no water for nearly 36 hours. I don't know if they're cheapening out on the contracters, but they're doing a terrible job.
