  Very disappointing experience with Relevé Property Management. Our HVAC stopped working on September 11, and as of September 22, the issue remains unresolved. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. HVAC failures have been an ongoing and recurring problem, yet management continues to provide temporary explanations instead of addressing the underlying issue properly. My apartment stays at approximately 24–26°C with almost no air circulation. I have to keep the windows open at night, which means regularly waking up because of traffic, ambulances, fire trucks and nearby construction noise. The open windows also allow construction dust into the apartment. Even basic activities such as using the oven, stove or dryer cause the temperature to rise further. Management waited seven days before sending a maintenance technician, only for the technician to leave a note saying that an HVAC specialist was required—even though management already knew this was an HVAC system issue affecting multiple suites. There is still no confirmed repair date, meaningful temporary solution or adequate communication. My follow-up email was also ignored. Residents pay rent expecting a comfortable and properly maintained home. Eleven days of disrupted sleep, daily discomfort and vague promises without action is unacceptable and unprofessional—especially when this is a recurring problem that management has already had multiple opportunities to address. I will update this review if management takes responsibility, provides a real solution and resolves the problem properly.

  *Homeless increase in the area Yes the management is great and the building is amazing but you know what is happening, more homeless are coming to the area. In fact, just this morning a guy was taking his daily dose in the brand new park in front of the building (the remains are still exactly where he was sitting) Also, you know what doesn’t go hand in hand with luxury, a brand new dollarama right next to a small park. That said, how do you expect the building will be next summer (my bet more like byward). I hope i’m wrong as the area was always great, but from what i’m seeing we’re getting there.

  *homeless increase in area: The building is great, the management are professional but a big issue is that luxury doesn’t go hand in hand with homeless (and dollarama). In fact, i saw a guy taking his daily dose in the brand new park just 2 steps from the new dollarama door. I guess you can figure out how the future of this building and area is looking. They are just replicating the issues that already exist in Rideau. Honestly, stay safe as we don’t know when you will find needles laying around in the brand new park!

  While my review posted here previously was positive, I'm updating it to reflect the poor experience I've had with the admin over the past year. Last winter, my unit had a broken heater that left us stuck at 18°C, and the several maintenance requests we submitted only ended up with the building sending people to turn the system on and off instead of actually repairing it. When they eventually sent an HVAC contractor (in the spring...), they mentioned that we had stuck actuators, which means that the issue couldn't be resolved by turning the system on and off as they had tried in the past. We still had to pay full price for utilities that winter, supposedly comparable amounts to similar units that actually had heating. This would mean that we had paid for heating that we never received, and the admin have refused to correct this. Also, a broken floor panel that I asked to repair in early May still hasn't been fixed as of the time of writing (late August).
