  Eric and Adrian are the absolute best. They’re always available to assist with any issues or concerns I have in my unit. They’re extremely quick and efficient even during off hours. The job always gets done same day and I never have to wait! This building wouldn’t survive with out them. Thankful to have them at Luma.

  Luma at El Corazon The last time I rented an apartment was in 1987. I decided to spend time in more time in California in 2023 and rented an Apartment Home in Carmel Valley; a beautiful, modern complex with amazing amenities and great floor plan…but, in my 14 months there, I never learned the name of the leasing office or maintenance staff. I then rented at a condo rental complex in Carlsbad with dynamic ocean views, a great location, a nice pool…but it was dated with a challenging floor plan; the leasing office staff (knew all their names!) was great (as was the maintenance staff-which I got to know personally because of the constant repairs!!). I now have an apartment at Luma at El Corazon in Oceanside and I have never been happier as a renter. Luma is brand new. It has amazing amenities including a resort style pool (that is great for laps; an enormous spa; a great outdoor seating areas with BBQ areas, a full, modern fitness facility; a social club; and so much more (like cooking classes!). Our apartment is spacious and well planned with a modern kitchen, top of the line appliances, lots of cabinet storage, a full size garage, and so much more. The complex is near everything I need, only a few miles from the beach, and directly across the street from Frontwave Arena (great events and I don’t have to pay for parking!). Then there is the “Luma Family.” I cannot in good conscience call them staff. They are all absolutely awesome and truly care about the property and, most importantly, all of the residents. From Carly who made the leasing process painless and has become a friend, to Stephanie (who is now the assistant manager), who is just a great, caring person, to our manager, Jennifer, who ensures everything that is Luma is first class, you can not be in better hand!. Our maintenance team (Eric and Adrian) is amazing; they are attentive and genuinely caring and complete any request immediately. The best part of life is sometimes found in the little things...the details that can make you smile from the inside. Luma truly pays attention to the details in a passionate and authentic approach. Luma is a great place to live and I highly recommend it!

  I moved in here with my Father and was excited we were able to get in so quickly because this is a new building. But for the past month or so the property has gone down hill. The pool area used to be my to go spot in the afternoons just to relax but there's always trash in the area, the pool furniture is dirty and smelly. Me and some of the people in my biulding go work out together in the property Gym and we've noticed the gym is always dirty, the machines look dirty and grimy, the water station smells, the bathrooms by the gym are always dirty, especially the toilets and floors. Not tryna be so negative but I'm not sure why the cleaning has gone down hill. It almost seems like they got rid of the cleaners and don't even get me started on the maintaince guys, it almost seems like they HATE their jobs.

  I want to start off by saying that the people in the front office are great and really helped me and my boyfriend with our application and it was a very easy process. BUT, that would be the only good thing I can say, we moved in almost 2 months ago and everything in the property seemed great until we had a small problem with our fobs, we had one of the maintenance guys help us since he was close to a key fob access point and he saw that our fobs didn't work, and he gave us the nastiest attitude when we approached him and he just told us to go to the office since this wasn't in his "department". We asked him if we could just give it to him since we were leaving to the airport and without looking at us or even acknowledging us he walked away and said "just go to the office". Not sure why Adrian the technician treated us like this, this had never happend to us before. Also since last month the amenities have gone downhill, especially the pool grill and the bathrooms there, theres always spider webs in the mail room, not sure if that's more of a cleaning subject or a more of a season matter but its just unpleasant. Me and my boyfriend are seriously considering breaking the lease.
