- LMLaura McElroyJan 3, 20143.0We moved into Hamilton Woods after a terrible accident in another state. Our family had a very small budget. We could only afford these apartments with our two daughters. We always felt safe and that was most important to us. You get what you pay for... Yes, the garbage was overfloweing and the parking sucks, but seriously where can you live in Novato for this price. We lived there for one year until we recovered from our accident and could afford a better place. All-in-all, it was not a bad year. The grounds are beautiful. The laundry is challenging, but doable, the parking is awful if you have more than one car, but a home is what you make it.
