Can't park in the complex now....
I’ve tried to be patient about this, but at this point it’s gotten out of hand.
About a month ago, I lost my dashboard parking pass. When I reached out to the leasing office for a replacement, I was told they “can’t provide one” because the original agreement says there are no replacements. That would already be frustrating, but what makes this situation worse is that parking pass enforcement was introduced after I moved in.
Since then, my car has been towed twice from the complex parking, even though I’m a paying resident. Each time I had to pay the towing fee of $375 to get my car back, in the morning before heading to work. I’ve called multiple times trying to find any kind of solution, a replacement, a temporary pass, anything, and each time I’ve been told there’s nothing they can do. No alternatives, no timeline, no accountability.
Because of this, I’ve been forced to park on the street for the past month, and I live in one of the farthest units from the road. It’s inconvenient, frustrating, and honestly feels unreasonable given the circumstances.
If enforcement policies change after residents move in, there should be some level of flexibility or support, not a hard “no” with no options. Residents shouldn’t be dealing with repeated towing over something that could be resolved with basic management effort.
I hope management seriously reconsiders how situations like this are handled.
