Was looking at places to live for my parents and I and was taken on a great tour by Orlando! He was incredibly professional, thorough and organized! He did a great job representing this beautiful establishment! This apartment complex is one of the best and nicest in the area and I recommend anyone looking to live in Murrieta/Temecula to give this place a look!

Previous Tenant - Moved in Dec 2024 when the apartment was brand new. Was told by the staff the security deposit would be returned if I left the unit in good condition and cleaned. This was a lie, if you move here dont expect to get 100% of your security deposit back. Norma inspected our unit Dec 2025 upon moving out and told me that the apartment wasn't clean enough and needed repairs. Upon on moving in there several issues with the apartment such as glue left all over the floors from the cheap vinyl flooring and the place wasnt cleaned as suggested by Norma when we moved in Dec 2024. We listed a lot of issues on our initial walk through which was completely ignored during our final walk through. They will take your security deposit even if you leave the place immaculate like we did. Ill post pictures here of how we left the unit upon handing in keys and let you decide if you want to lose your security deposit due to normal wear and tear of living in a apartment daily. 12/15/25 Updated rating from 1 start to 4 star: I originally rated my experience with The Max on Jefferon as a 1 star due to Norma charging $525 for painting in which I left the apartment as near to new as when I moved in. Leah with Cannon Management expedited my concerns and a resonable resolution was rendered.

I recently moved into The Max on Jefferson about a month ago, and so far I’m really happy with my decision. I’m new to Murrieta, and the location has been great — close to shops, restaurants, and everyday essentials. The property itself is smaller than other places I’ve lived, which I actually prefer. It feels more private and less congested. Most tenants keep to themselves, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and comfortable. What I appreciate most is the property management and maintenance team. Some of them even live on-site, and they’re always friendly, professional, and quick to respond to maintenance requests or questions. They also host fun community events like World Series watch party and a Halloween costume gathering for the kids, which really helps create a neighborhood feel. The apartments are spacious, and having a one-car garage included in the rent is a huge bonus. Since the property is only about a year old, everything still feels new and well-kept. There are a couple of quirks worth mentioning — the apartment building entry doors don’t require a key for access (only the front main entry has a security gate), and I wish the amenities used key fobs instead of traditional keys. Being a newer property, I would like high tech features. Also, the pet policy is also a bit unique. You can have two pets, but not two dogs. Overall, I’m very pleased with The Max on Jefferson. It’s a clean, friendly, and well-managed community that is starting to feel like home.
