I’ve been living at Domus on the Boulevard for almost a year and wanted to share an honest and balanced review.
There are definite positives. The location is excellent, especially being close to the nearby park, and the living space itself is comfortable. The maintenance team has been responsive and professional when handling work orders, which I truly appreciate.
However, several serious issues cannot be ignored if you're considering this place.
1. Move-in leasing error
When I first moved in, the rent price and promotional discount listed on the lease agreement were incorrect. I had to go to the leasing office at least three times before the agreement was corrected and finalized. That process was unnecessarily stressful during move-in.
2. Elevator reliability
In my building, only two elevators serve around 30 units. Either one can be down for over a week at a time for unclear reasons. It’s an ongoing issue — the buttons often don’t register unless pressed multiple times. On several occasions, even the button for my floor did not respond while I was inside the elevator, leaving me stuck riding up and down for several minutes until it finally worked. For more than a month, we’ve effectively had only one reliable elevator at a time because once one is fixed, the other goes down again.
3. Package and delivery theft
Package security has been a recurring problem. I’ve had multiple DoorDash orders stolen — if you don’t pick up food within about 30 minutes, it’s likely gone. Because the building is gated, delivery drivers often can’t get in easily, leading to food being left outside. This makes orders and packages more likely to be stolen compared to direct-to-door delivery. I’ve also had packages go missing the same day they were delivered.
4. Parking area theft and security concerns
Car accessories were stolen from my vehicle while parked in the underground garage. The theft appeared to have occurred without any broken windows, so I initially did not realize how serious the situation was. However, living with the constant worry that anything left inside your car might be gone the next day is extremely stressful.
5. Noise and sound insulation
Sound insulation between floors is poor. I can clearly hear the upstairs neighbor walking, moving items, and occasionally dropping things — even at 3–4am. There are also times when a baby cries during the night, which further disrupts sleep.
Additionally, even units facing inward (not toward the road) are not necessarily quiet. During warmer weather, the pool area is frequently used and children play nearby. The noise carries throughout the building, and even with windows closed, it can be difficult to block out.
Please review as many as reviews on Google as possible when considering this place.
