  I have been living in mResidences for more than 2 years now and my experience has been nothing short of amazing!! Brendan and Mason are true gems who are managing the community effortlessly. The maintenance staff, Mr. Thorn, is prompt and very helpful. He goes above and beyond to help us with anything needed.

  Don't be fooled by the good reviews if you're looking for a long-term lease. Building management is extremely incompetent. I never cared for the quality of building managers because in my previous experiences they were all decent. But the ones at Oakwood are hand-picked to make your life difficult. I would say Felicia and Ernie were helpful. But Ashley is very rude and incompetent. It takes skill to be that unhelpful. Bad experiences were an everyday routines but I'm listing some examples: * When we first moved, no one was at the office and no one answered the phone. So we couldn't get in. We waited outside with our U-Haul for three hours. Had to call corporate and they sent the maintenance guy after three hours. (it was the previous building manager's fault) * Our bike was stolen from inside the bike storage. We learned that other bikes were stolen the days before and they didn't do anything about it. We asked them to inform other resident so they be careful. They did nothing. A month later other bikes were stolen and THEN they informed residents to come take their bikes because they can't protect them. * They schedule maintenance/cleaning and not communicate ahead. It could get very loud in there. I once had to cancel my meetings while working from home because no one could hear me. * I like the pool because it's long enough to swim laps. But it took them four months to reopen it after it was allowed by local authorities (due to COVID 19). Even after that, the gate was locked sometime just because no one is willing to open it. * After our lease ended, I needed a Rent Satisfaction Letter for a mortgage application. None of my previous apartments had issues with it. It takes 10 mins to fill out a form sent by the bank. But Ashley just refused to do it because "it's not a priority for her" as she mentioned. I could go on and on. But the list is long.

  Update: 3/4/2023 Donald is a great manager. Me and the family continue to enjoy our stay here. Location is great! I highly recommend this complex for any new movers. 😊 I have not had any issues. All concerns are addressed in a timely manner. The office staff are very helpful and lovely! I am a very happy tenant.

  Our stay at the apartment was very nice, even though it was for medical reasons. The staff were very helpful and didn't even flinch when we had to change our departure date. I loved the heated pool and the exercise room had nicer equipment than the gym my daughter goes to. All appliances were wonderful and it was very convenient having the washer and dryer in the apartment. Linens and bed were so very comfortable it was easy to get a good night's sleep. There was just enough equipment in the kitchen. I really want to get across what a wonderful place it was to stay. I'm really glad Stanford hospital had a contract with Oakwood, because we had to be away from home for a couple of months. I would recommend this place to everyone I know and don't know. The visitors we did have were amazed by the place!

  Confusing - oakwood mountain view gives this result on gmaps - but there is another one with exact same name in MTV!
