I had an amazing experience working with Susan at Vida at Mountain House. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. Her level of service really stood out, and honestly, it played a huge role in our decision to move forward with this location, even with the higher price point. That alone says a lot about how impactful she was.
During our tour, Susan went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident in our decision. She didn’t just show us one or two units, she walked us through over four different options, including two of the same floor plan in different locations. That attention to detail really mattered because it helped us understand how things like natural sunlight and positioning would affect our day-to-day living. It wasn’t rushed or surface-level, she took her time and made sure we truly understood what we were choosing.
What impressed me even more was her support during move-in. That’s when most people disappear after the lease is signed, but not Susan. She was right there helping us get settled, even assisting with getting rid of trash and piles of cardboard boxes. It was such a small detail, but it made a huge difference during a stressful time. She truly went above and beyond for our family.
Overall, Susan is exceptional at what she does. She’s professional, attentive, and genuinely cares about the people she’s helping. If you’re considering Vida at Mountain House, having someone like Susan guide you through the process makes all the difference.

I wanted to take a moment to share how great my experience has been working with the leasing team here, especially Susan and Nellie.
From the very beginning, Susan made a huge impression on us. She was incredibly welcoming during our tour and created such a comfortable, easygoing environment that it honestly played a big role in our decision to move forward with this location. What stood out the most was how genuine she was, she didn’t just give us the typical “sales” answers, but instead took the time to answer all of our questions thoughtfully and honestly. She gave real insight into the local area, which we really appreciated because it helped us feel confident about what to expect day-to-day. It’s rare to find someone who balances professionalism with that level of honesty and transparency.
Nellie was just as great to work with. She reached out to me directly to confirm details and was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to right from the start. There was a small pricing error along the way, and she handled it quickly and without any hassle. She made sure everything was corrected and clearly communicated, which made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. It’s clear she genuinely cares about making sure everything is right for residents.
Overall, the level of service and care we received from both Susan and Nellie really stood out. They made what can sometimes be a stressful process feel easy and even enjoyable. If you’re considering this location, just know you’ll be in good hands with a team that’s not only professional, but also kind, honest, and truly helpful every step of the way.
My wife and I just wanted to take a moment to share how much of a positive impact Nellie has already made here at Vida.
We constantly hear Nellie’s name in a positive way from other residents throughout the building, and it’s clear we’re all very happy to have her here. Her hard work, dedication, patience, understanding, and bravery in handling difficult situations really stand out.
Since Nellie started, she has honestly been the best. Day by day, we’ve noticed fewer non-residents coming into the property, and it has made a huge difference in how safe and comfortable everything feels. Compared to a few months ago, the community feels much more peaceful. You can tell she truly cares about the property and the people who live here. I’ve personally seen her after hours walking the parking lots and checking amenities before leaving, just to make sure everything is in order and that only residents are using the space. She treats the property like it’s her own, which says a lot about her character.
She’s also very knowledgeable and experienced. She handles situations with confidence and always provides top-notch customer service. Before she arrived, many of us were seriously considering moving due to ongoing issues with non-residents. Nellie has not only addressed those concerns, but she does so in a way that is firm, polite, and respectful.
On top of that, she helped us resolve some resident ledger issues with FPI, and she was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the entire process. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way because several of my neighbors have shared similar experiences and appreciation for the positive changes she’s brought.
She’s only been here ONLY ABOUT A MONTH and the difference is already HUGE! She truly deserves a lot of credit for that and I will be recommending Vida to friends and family just because of Nellie!
While we were sad to see Gabby leave because she was great as well, Nellie has been amazing. We understand there’s a new manager, and we just hope he’s as good as she is.

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent experiences within the office environment, particularly concerning the level of administrative support available.
I have fond memories of Susan and her team, whose presence ensured a consistently helpful and efficient experience. Their ability to manage inquiries and provide timely assistance was greatly appreciated and contributed positively to the office atmosphere.
However, I have noticed a shift in this regard. I have encountered significant difficulties when seeking support from an individual who appears to hold a management or ownership role. My interactions have frequently involved unhelpful responses and a demeanor that I perceive as dismissive.
A recent incident on 03/31/2026, if known, or "today"] particularly highlighted this issue. When I approached her for assistance with paying my rent, as the designated application was not functioning correctly, my request was met with an unexpected reaction. She reportedly laughed and informed me that she did not have time to help as she was leaving for lunch. This left me feeling disregarded and uncertain about how to resolve an essential task.
The contrast between this experience and the consistently high standard of service provided by Susan and her team is quite pronounced. Susan always handled matters with professionalism and an eagerness to assist, and I deeply value that approach.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as my primary concern is to ensure a supportive and functional environment for all. I would appreciate it if these concerns could be addressed to restore the level of administrative efficiency and helpfulness that Susan and her team previously maintained.

I usually don’t write reviews, but Nellie, the Assistant Property Manager at this Greystar community, truly deserves recognition. She is professional, confident, proactive, and genuinely cares about residents.
Just this past Saturday, I was visiting my mom and walking by the pool when I noticed about 10 teenagers who do not live here. The clubhouse was rented for a private event, and the pool was busy with residents trying to relax. The kids were roughhousing, yelling, and even trying to hit the security camera with a football.
Nellie arrived calmly but with confidence and authority. She asked if they lived here and followed up for unit numbers and resident names. When it became clear they were lying, she gave them a firm, direct, and professional warning to be honest and leave within five minutes or she would escalate the situation. She stayed right by the pool gate, watching until every single one of them left one by one and even waited until they got on their bikes and fully exited. That level of accountability and consistent follow-through is incredible.
When one argued it was a community pool, Nellie corrected him immediately and reminded them these are resident-only amenities. She also told them not to use amenities at Avaiara, a sister property, and said she would contact that team. She was professional, direct, and solution-oriented the entire time.
After the kids left, one of the teenagers, a guest of a resident, felt comfortable speaking to Nellie while we were nearby. He mentioned he wished someone like her was at Avaiara because he sees similar issues there but does not feel comfortable speaking up. Nellie encouraged him to report to the staff, reassured him it would stay confidential, and ended the conversation with a friendly high five.
My mom had a maintenance issue that had been unresolved for weeks. Nellie took ownership immediately, explained the transition from FPI to Greystar, apologized, and made sure the issue was resolved. We were not expecting a follow-up call, but when she called to make sure my mom was satisfied and that everything had been taken care of, I was very impressed. What really stood out is how she highlighted her team’s efforts, showing that the work was not just about her. She gave credit to her team, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and collaboration rather than trying to take all the credit.
Before Nellie arrived, my mom was considering moving out due to frustration. Since she has been here, that has completely changed. Nellie already carries herself like a Community Manager, and I truly hope she stays long-term and eventually becomes the Community Manager for this property. Greystar is lucky to have her. She represents the company the way they describe themselves, providing high-class living with professionalism, accountability, and resident-focused leadership. She sets the standard, raises the bar, and represents exactly what strong, resident-focused management should be. Five stars without question.
