The property itself is really nice, which is why I was interested in renting an apartment there. Unfortunately, after calling the leasing office several times throughout the day and not receiving any response, I had to give up. If it’s this difficult to reach them by phone, it raises concerns about how issues might be handled once living there.

**Read Me** **Caution** My 25-year-old daughter, who serves on active duty, moved from Texas to California for a 3-year assignment after the stop loss and applied for an apartment here. After some back and forth She was given a written move-in breakdown showing a $400 deposit and prorated rent, confirmed that amount, paid in full, signed the lease, and was handed keys. Later that same day, after she had already moved her belongings in, management called saying they had made a “mathematical mistake” and demanded another $2,340 — claiming her lease wouldn’t be processed without it. To make matters worse, her refrigerator didn’t work, so she couldn’t buy groceries and had to buy ice daily to keep her medications cold, adding even more unnecessary expenses during an already stressful move. As a parent, I’m deeply concerned. Once a lease is signed, payment made, and possession granted, the landlord cannot change the deposit or lease terms under California Civil Code §1950.5. What they’re doing feels unethical and potentially illegal — more like a bait-and-switch than an honest mistake. My daughter acted in complete good faith, followed every instruction, and moved across the country on military orders. We’ve since contacted JAG and the California Department of Consumer Affairs for guidance. Military families and young renters should be extremely cautious before leasing here.

I lived here for 4 years, I will not renew anymore. It changed management 5 times, totally messed up everything, worse and worse. They just wants your money and do nothing. Higher and higher charge. Extremely small parking space. Please try your best to avoid rent here. Find somewhere else.
